Truth about LPU

I simply want to study about computers , want to learn coding and want to make websites thats why i choose this course. But after coming in lpu , my dream of becoming a great coder is going far day by day , almost evryday 9-5 classes , after that we have to study about those subjects neither if you get less marks then your cgpa will be poor and worse case you may got backlog then you have to pay them 8000 for that. The only thing LPU is after is money . The baselesws subjects and classes are so time consuming and energy draining that i barely got time to learn more about coding. Such poor Faculties i have never seen in my life , programming language teachers are the wrost , they dont even knwo how to build logic or how to solve a query. They only thing they do or better to say they can do is to read ppts in the class . And all over that you have marks on your attendance so if you are keeping your attendance barely above 75% , you can sit in the exam but you will lose a great of marks

I am only in 1st year so i dont have any experience about placements or internships but dont keep any hope for internships from lpu . Whatever you want to do , do by yourself , what lpu can do is that they will throw some obstacle in you way , that's the way LPU is.

From 3rd year 2nd semester you can sit for placements , bu to sit in placements you have to pay a high amount to college as a btech student more than 15k . Placement is average. Becasue to get high placement you need to have some skills , in lpu they will assign so many classes then class tests then other exams and other unnecessary things that you can never learn the skills that are actually necessary to get a high placement

Per semester the fees for computer science fees is 120000 but after 2nd category scholarship i have to pay them 90000 , but you have to give 4000 extra as examination fee, which was hidden until the semester exam. I have to not taken any employment in campus . Course is affordable but the faculty the curriculam is not worth the money .

Many hackathones held inside the campus , they are not benifical at all , in a subject "orientation to computing" there is a ca where you have to submit a 24 hr hackathon certificate , for that purpose students participate in hackathon , other than that it's total waste of time. Campus is all about restrictions , you have to apply for leave application if you want to go outside of the campus , but afdter 6:45 pm you can not apply for a leave . If you are outside on leave you cannot comback between 10:30 pm to 5:00am. You have ton come before or after the mentioned time. Ofc, non veg is not allowed , but ehre is a resturent names foodfactory in a corner in the campus where you can eat nonveg food , but they meat they provide is so so bad that you can get sick after eating that.

In 2024 Hostel is not affordable at all all hostel fees increased by 10k , mess food is so disgusting that most of the students eats from food courts. In laundry they basically destroy our clothes so students cannot give the premium clothes there , they have to wash them but themselves

For admission , you can enter through jee mains or the LPUNEST exam. I gave the LPUNEST exam in 2023 FEB , the syllabus was from 11,12 standard subjects. The cutoff is not that much high , anybody can pass the entrance exam , according to your marks scholarships will be allocated to you, there are 3 category scholarship. I got the 2nd category one.Every thing was fine in the admission process. After you enter in the college during semester exam you will findout there is extra 4000 examination fees which was hidden until now, that is very bad part.
