Remarks

My college days were probably the best days of my life. I belonged to CMR college located in medchal and had a group of friends. My high school didn't really emphasize writing, so I came into college without a great deal of confidence in that area.

Entrance Preview

I am preparing for CAT(Common Admission Test). CAT is the gateway to the cream of management institutes in India, the IIMs. CAT, or the Common Admission Test, is an aptitude test, it is the most popular test among prospective management students because it is accepted by the best institutes. CAT entrance exam is used as an admission test to shortlist applicants for admissions to the 19 IIMs.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Assessment and curriculum development is an ongoing, multi-step process for planning.

Internships Opportunities

Students who complete internships may receive higher salaries when they are hired. It is important that both students and parents understand that completing an internship is not a guarantee of a job. However, students who complete internship experiences, or multiple internship experiences, may have an advantage when it does come time for the job search.

Placement Experience

4

It is headed by a Professor designated as Training & Placement Officer in charge and assisted by Student Placement Coordinators. It ensures the students to secure esteemed positions and also provide the best arranmgements for the visiting national and multinational companies officials. Over 90% of the students secure job offers before they complete their academics. Students are exposed to the actual work environment of various Industries.

College Events

3

The college events celebrated Poetry Prize and Novella Writing Competition, Series of day celebration, Antakshari Competition, Vasant Ustav (Annual Gathering), Cricket Tournaments, Indoor games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) 10,000/. In india lot of private colleges initially charges less fees initially.after joining they collect more and more fee in the form of tech fest, library, lab and cultural bull shit like that. We spend lot of money in these colleges and administration invests all our money in to their own businesses . We don't get single piece of knowledge by studying in those colleges. But here they charge very less and makes every student feel comfortable.

Fees and Financial Aid

The student loan will be disbursed in full or in suitable installments taking into account the requirement of funds and/or fee schedule as assessed by the Bank directly to the educational institution or vendor of books or equipment or instruments. Tenure of loan upto 15 years for loan up to Rs 7.5 lakhs and above respectively.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life connects you to whats going on around campus. In addition, your active participation in student life outside of the curriculum allows for you to learn skills that will be valuable to you throughout your lifetime - both in your work-related or career life as well as your personal life. If you are looking for world class facilities and the ability to use them, you have come to the right place. CMR has very good lab facilities and students are encouraged to use them as much as they can for projects (there's a caveat here which i'll get to later) and other non-curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Currently, the total occupancy capacity in all the hostels is 1500 residents SC/ST students and all women students are exempted from payment of room rent. Differently-abled students are provided free accommodation and food Two more hostels exclusively for

Alumni/Alumna

Students are directly connected with alumni that make names for themselves in the big, bad world of business. Two-thirds of the 2015 class credits alumni for their careers. For the senior students, we set aside three or four days at the end of the year when we meet with parents of each student for an hour or a little more.

Exam Structure

The candidate shall pursue a course of study for not less than four academic years and not more thaneight academic years. After eight academic years of course of study, the candidate is permitted to write the examinations for two more years. The candidate

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
