First thing is that there are a lot of options in this university there is very trading course are also there. All the Courses in the semester system module.
Yes, the university provides internships in very different companies. There are some government sector tie-ups this is best for a student. Some time many government projects handle by this university at that time student spend their Time as an intern and get the stipend.
The scenario of the university is good. There is very reputational Companies tie-up with the university. In every June and July is job fest year. And there is the most important thing is that b.sc in agriculture this course performance is very good.
There are very affordable packages are there. Post matric schemes are there in this scheme students get scholarships easily and for the general student, there are very affordable fees.
There are all the faculty are Ph.D. Holder and UGC clear. There is a very good environment provided by the teacher. In university, there is a very friendly environment.
From the 3rd semester, you are eligible for an internship. TCS, Infosys, Samsung etc are available here but if are taking admission here you should mainly focus on exams like gate etc. average package is 20k per month and the max is 1 lakh so it's not good. 50% are getting placed every year but mainly students are focused on sports or government exams. I want to run my startup but the primary focus is on gate exam and skill development.
Placement rates are very good highest placement provided was of 42 lpa and 39 lpa. Generally, 89% of students get placed from this branch. The number of students is fairly high in each branch but then also the university doesn't disappoint in providing placement to a maximum number of students.
Placement is average, I think every year 35-45% of students are getting placed. From last year or 7-8 semesters, students become eligible for campus placement. Every company has its own academic cutoff results to attend their exam. Companies like Mahindra, Infosys, Patanjali, Microsoft are many more little companies are visited campus every year. The highest package in mechanical got 4 lakh and average is about 2 -3 lakh. After completing B.E if I did not get campus placement then try my best to qualify for GATE and I also go for general competition.
More than 90 percent of students get placed in Computer Science and Engineering. The average package is above 12 lakhs per student. IIT ROPAR is ranked 25 in engineering institutes ranking by NIRF. Overall 80 percent or more students get placed per year. I am planning for research after MTech in Mechanical Engineering.
Our college had zero percent ranging record. Faculty is nice supportive.
It's a government university and it was the only government institute where I could get B. Tech(CSE) with 69 JEE score. I wished to pursue Computer Sciences only. I had options of some private institutes but I opted for the government one.
You shouldn't think twice if you're getting admission in GZSCCET Bathinda which now is under MRSPTU PUNJAB. A good chance of being placed, a wonderful and friendly atmosphere to add on with. Overall this college has all what an ideal college should have.
Studies and placements can be better. Transport facilities is only available during day which creates lots of issues for students. We have to come timely in order to catch the bus otherwise its too difficult to came back hostel.
Although it was privately funded institution, Khalsa engineering college provided best facilities for students to nurture their talents and obtain requisite skills for progressing ahead in life. We owe it to them. If anything can be improved it is the placement opportunities and hostel facilities that need a bit of touch.
The bad thing about my college is that the college is situated to far from tha main place.sp transport ficilty is not good other wise the college is good.
