What Students Say

Likes

I liked the way Faculty are Teaching and Encouraging us for everything
Spending Good Time with lots of Books in Library
Interacting with Teachers and Friends I Like

Dislikes

Campus Placements are less that one I dont like
College Fees Are should be like that they have to decrease
Should provide scholarship opportunities For all categories Not only for Few Students

Course Curriculum Overview

There is no such specific aspects to choose that Course For Me ..I wrote jee mains so that I got admission in CIT I Got Cse I like that branch and Course I want to Pursue Engineering so that I took Admission in CIT.The frequency Of Each sem is 4 months Including Exams some times 4 months 15 days

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont think so there is Tution fee increment policy there are not increasing tuition fee for every semester .The actual fee is Based on Categories If you are from General than Fee for sem is 27000 and for other Categories it's not same.People who are having Reservation their fees are less.

Campus Life

My overall experience in this campus is just ok out of 10 I am giving 5 ..And Focusing on social Aspects is Not that much encouragement and also..Infrastructure is not bad it's fine...Having good Labs..And sports are encouraged as well as Clubs also Going well. The library Consists of Approximately 10000 Books. And the Facilities in Classroom are nice not having any problem In class and Fans, lights etc are available in Good Quantity.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in Room is Good 2 fans 2 lights For each room 3 people..And 3 beds,3 study tables are provided.Coming to review of meal Out of 10 I an giving 5 it's not soo good tasty is not good quality is not bad.You have to do Registration For hostel In online The allotment of rooms will be done by Hostel Management Cell

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

The Admission Process is Good. And coming to Application Process First we have to apply Online When they announced than We have to give Entrance Exam. After that they will announce results Means Score card through Online. After that Counselling dates will be Announced We can Apply By seeing Previous Year cutoff As well as we cutoff differ for category To category Its not same for all

A chapter of growth, my college life

Likes

Since I am in civil dept so the civil dept is the most well maintained and beautiful dept of my college. The faculty members are more or less friendly and good.
Teachers are good and friendly. Specially in civil the seniors are also good and friendly.
In civil dept there are many events which take place as compared to other dept .

Dislikes

Only boys hostel is there but no girls hostel.
In civil dept the placement opportunities are not upto the mark but in other dept specially chemical placement is good even in mechanical too.
Campus can be made more beautiful although work is going on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

Remarks:

Its a good college. I feel lucky to read on this college. They faculty, the facilities is nice. The environment of the college is very good for education. The management cell of the college is also do grat jobs. But the main problem I have found is placement. According to the other colleges the placement of this college is not so good. If the college can give more placement then it will become a great college. Overall its a great college full of knowledge.

Kalyani Siddha's Review On Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar, Kokrajhar

The whole admission process in CITK seemed like my destiny. And of course, I wanted to come here. I had other options but somehow I wished I was here. It was my calling, I guess. And for the thing that I like most about this college is the library. I really love the carpeted floor and the wooden bookshelves. The interior is very captivating, with brown walls and books all around. The place is surprisingly peaceful. Though during exams it gets crowded, other than that it's the best place to visit. The only thing that our library lacks is the literature section. I mean there are plenty of books on literature but not the actual literature. You can count the number of novels in one hand. Opting for civil engineering is something my parents did for me. As we say elders know better, so they suggested that a bright future awaits for me through the doorway of the Civil Engineering Branch. And I gladly followed their advice and I regret nothing, not yet. But I had in my mind to opt for Food Engineering and Technology, but elders know better....Read More
