Likes

I like the diversity here ,there are so many students fo different countries and states it's always so interesting to interact with them
There are canteens, gym and sports ground where everything is available to live the time
Have fest and sports events regularly where so many students take participation and had a very healthy competition

Dislikes

There is no high security when there is a fight between students where they hurt eachother

Course Curriculum Overview

I was always interested in doing coding that's why I chose this field. Staff and teachers here are always willing to help and always tech things based on the real life like how the world actually works and tells us about the reality. Teachers here are like friends and older siblings.

Internships Opportunities

There are faculty here who provide training for the internships and placement. Companies like royal Enfield and eicher and agri king tractors etc. are here for taking capable students. They train everyone equally and they try there best to provide everyone with a bright future.

Placement Experience

Students here are eligible for placement form there 6th sem and there had been so many companies visiting here form last few years like The campus provides placent oppurtunities with companies such as royal Enfield and eicher and agri King tractors, etc. The average offers lie between 600000 and 1200000. The highest ackage offered is of 3200000 and the percentage lies between 80 to 90 percent. After degree my plans are to pursue a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tutuion fees of the entire course is 120000 and hostel fees is 280000. The college provides scholarship oppurtunities. The campus also allows for students to do volunteer work and some type of training activities

Campus Life

The fests that take pace include Holi fest, tech fest, Diwali fest, Christmas fest, new year fest, dj night, star night.the library contains of many books for all courses. The sports competition also take place atleast once in a semester such as badketball, football.

Admission

You need a good percentage for the admission in cse course. You can get the form in the admission cell of the college. You can get a reservation if you belong to a particular place in Himachal. You can get a scholarship if you score well in the scholarship test. The exam isn't that tough, for me the level was quite moderate not easy nor too much difficult. You need to have a good hand in maths and physics and gk that's it. Mostly the information you need is all provided in the admission cell where the staff and the counselors are very polite and helpful.

Interview Experience

The gd included topics related to my course and current affairs and a speaking round to check my confidence and fluency of the English language. I prepared for these rounds by studying for my course and keeping up with what's going on around the world

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Big campus and beautiful garden and environment
Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

Students choose Rayat Bahra University for its affordable fee structure, good scholarship opportunities, focus on practical learning and proximity to cities like chandigarh. The variety of courses and industry-oriented programs also make it a preferred choice. About other college which I applied for failing to meet the eligibility criteria or cutoffs . Limited seats and high competition in entrance exam. Admission process of RBU for BCA is must have passed 10+2 at least. Specific relaxation is provided for SC/ST categories. New to rayat bahara university

Apart from this college i applied to cu(chandigarh university) to pursue llb i even got selected but it was a little bit expensive for me and i had also applied in ccg landra road it was not expensive but i didn't liked their campus also rayat bahra university was the best option for me because it was affordable and nice. And the admission process of our college is that first you have to fill a registration form online then you have to fill your details and the course you're applying and after that you have to pay 1000 free then they call you and tell you about further admission process and the eligibility is that you have to pass your 12th with a good percentage.
