Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is very good as improves the knowledge of the course. the curriculum makes me more technically sound and more knowledgeable about my course. the course can improve by providing more practical opportunities.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are very nice as it involves a stipend of upto 20000 per month for upto 6 months and a interview for placement after the 6 months for the different fields in the company. The projects are reviewed from the work done in college.

Placement Experience

The campus provides placent oppurtunities with companies such as z scaler and girl power and tech rbm, etc. The average offers lie between 600000 and 1200000. The highest ackage offered is of 3200000 and the percentage lies between 80 to 90 percent. After degree my plans are to pursue a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tutuion fees of the entire course is 520000 and hostel fees is 364000. The college provides scholarship oppurtunities. The campus also allows for students to do volunteer work and some type of training activities.

Campus Life

The fests that take pace include Holi fest, tech fest, Diwali fest, Christmas fest, new year fest, dj night, star night.the library contains of many books for all courses. The sports competition also take place atleast once in a semester such as basketball, football.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good with rooms made for two people and with good space. The mess food however is not that good on somedays feels completely inedible but on some very good. The hostel is affordabe with its fees being 91000 per year and the registration process dosent include any type of interview.

Admission

The admission process includes of a group discussion round and a one on one interview round. The application form can be accessed once the helpline number is contacted. The exams take place at a convenient time and are of good length.

Interview Experience

Yes I faced a round of group discussion. The topics of the group discussion were related to my course and some current affairs topic and also speaking skills and fluency of the English language. I prepared for the round by revising the topics of my course and keeping up with current affairs.

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

campus life and social interactionn : the campus is large and active with many clubs events hackathons and activities students get good opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and participate iin extrracurricular activities.
faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.

New to rayat bahara university

Apart from this college i applied to cu(chandigarh university) to pursue llb i even got selected but it was a little bit expensive for me and i had also applied in ccg landra road it was not expensive but i didn't liked their campus also rayat bahra university was the best option for me because it was affordable and nice.
