Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum include both theoretical as well as practical aspects and also includes better exposure to the application level field and prepares each student to be exposed to the real world experiences. The areas in which improvements for the course would be done, would be more visual demonstration of the practises.. the frequency and timing of exams regarding the difficulty level is moderate. We make sure that the weaker section of class also succeed. The faculties are good, they teach very well and are supportive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fee structure of this course, first semester. It includes 90 K and then from 2nd to 6 th sem its 65000. The complete course costs for about 4,15,000. There are various scholarships provided for students who have scored more than 90 percentage in second PU. There are campus employment present which would be provided in the last semester of college which includes responsibilities as well as many job roles.

Campus Life

4

The overall experience in the campus is very good. The campus organises annual days like cultural days as well as technical festivals such as aura fest et cetera. The range and accessibility of books and journals is very vast in the library. Given the whole campus is very hygienic the facilities on the technology. We have smart boards as well as attendance is taken using biometry, there are various sports as well as extra curricular activities such as cricket, football, volleyball, chess carrom et cetera

Admission

The admission process was simple and easy to follow. They asked me to write a paragraph about The Prime Minister of India and it followed with the interview process. The eligibility of course is PU pass, the application was around 26,500 and was available in the college office itself. The frequency as well as the timing of exams where two internal exams into regular months. The difficulty level was moderate and was made sure that even the weakest part of the class was passed, the areas for improvement of admission process would've been easier if the processes were reduced. Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
