College has the main disadvantage is that the region i.e., Amravati. In Amravati the industrial explore to the students is less. The college management body doesn't support the club. Their is mismanagement in college body. I advice to take this college if they want to study. If they want to enjoy college life it is not proper place for them.

This is one of the best college in vidarbha. This is near to my home town. The tread mechanical in this college is oldest and well known. My relative also complete his graduation from this college, he told me about college which help me to take decision .

The institute is autonomous hence it decide its own course as per the AICTE points. The curriculum is good for the some subject like Thermodynamics and material science which is quiet technical and help full for the research. But some subject curriculum is quiet theoretical. For the practical every subject is given two hours a week and 2 hours workshop practice per week.

Yes,college provide internship in the local company like Jadhao Gears,Ford , and other MIDC companies and some bigger company like FIAT, TCS, Relianince, etc.But the internship are not for all this are for some interested and best resume student.

Placements in our college are moderate for our senior batch. Companies like Fait, Range Holding, and TCS Digital are the highest salary package offering companies. Due to the newly started technical forum in the college, this year, the T&P cell showed an increase in the placements. Last year, the placement percentage was nearly 70%. Last year, TCS visited the college for placements and hired 90 students with an average salary package of 3.40 LPA. The college provides an internship to the students. Last year, Reliance hired 12 students from our college. This year, TCS Digital offered a salary package of 7.3 LPA to B.Tech students, and 7.5 LPA to M.Tech students. Till now, the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA.

The main event of the college include the Alumni meet , Zenith, Prajwalan. Alumni meet is the silver jubilee batch meet organized by the student. The alumni come to college and interact with the student and share their industrial problem they face. Zenith isbthe cultural fest of the college in which the painting competition, dance , drama , etc is done. Prajwalan is the national level technical festival organized by the students which contains different different competition, guest lectures, workshops etc . Other event include the Kalpana Chawala Trophy, Mudhlihar , Hooby Center, etc.

The fee of the college is very high as the college is autonomous the development fee is so high nearly 35000. The college fee is increasing every year. The fee for OPEN is 75000 nearly and for the OBC is 45000. And for SC and ST category its it so low as 1000 and 2000 . The fee structure for TFWS is 15000 less from original fee for OPEN category. The correct fee structure is update every year on the college website.

The college has four scholarship options available. 1)Alumni scholarship which is provided by the.alumni association of the college. 2) Siemens Foundation scholarship which is provided by Siemens company.It is best scholarship among other. 3) Government Scholarship. 4) Spandan Scholarship which is given by 1990 batch of the college. The education loan to the college student is mainly given by Bank of Maharashtra and SBI.

College has canteen , Gymkhana. College has active drama club, dance club, social club, starlit club, music club . which organize various events in the college and perform in the college technical festival and cultural festival. Our college has perform the various activity through the social club in Amravati. Our college has an E-library, VMC machine, 3D printer, EDM machine, etc. Our college has the technical forums like Baja, Collegiate Club, ROBO Tech Forum, TIFAN, and SAE AERO.

The college has 5 hostel out of which 3 are boys hostel and 2 are girls hostel. Out of 3 boys hostel 1 for first year only and other two for remains years. Same for girls 1 is for first year and other for remain year. The hostels has good infrastructure all are new building and renewed. The hostel fee is 600 only per year. Hostel allotment is basis of the pointer and economic condition. The mess food is healthy but not tastie. Every the has feast. And every Wednesday and Friday has non veg.

The alumni network of the college is very strong because of the alumni association. At alumni meet the alumni of silver jubilee batch comes and share their experience with all the students of the respective branch. The alumni also give the technical guidance to student. Spandan foundation the start up of the 1990 batch conduct various workshop, provide internship to the students in their industry, conduct various guest lecture.

As this is autonomous college we have to give three exam per semester and practical exam and viva. Theory paper consist of CT1, CT2 and End semester exam. The marking system is as 15 per CT for end sem 60 and Teacher assessment 10 marks. The overall marking is CGPA and SGPA.

I scored 145 marks in the MHT CET . On basis of which I got this college. First I filled the DTE form and college list through which I got this college. After allotment t had conformed to the FC and ARC. Then first visit to college for admission. For admission I had bring all the documents and allotment letter with Demand draft in the favour of Principle of GCOEA . And also done the online registration on college website after admission.

Faculty members in the college are very good. They always give information about the latest technology. Some of the faculty members are from IITs and BITS, and some are from the same college. Hence, they work for the welfare of the students. Some faculty members are interested in taking lectures. Most of the faculties for the first year are the visiting faculties. As there is M.Tech in the same college the practicals are taken by the M.tech students.
