LPU : A brief review but in detail.

The courses are pretty good , they are well structred , you get to know about the whole 4 year curriculm in the start only , however the teacher are not so good , there are many teachers who have just begin thier carrern in teaching in the college and are phd student form our college only. The frequency of exams has been moderate , there are 4 Class test of 30marks each and 1 mid term and end term exam.

The internship opportunites are pretty good , the college / university starts providing chances for internship from the second year it self , and many big compianes like Amazon , Goldman Sach and other vist the college for internship opprtunities. THe companies hires from various branches like CSE / IT / MBA / BAA . Agriculture and etc.

Placement are average , my roommate from CSE branch got a placement of 7LPA , the placement are pretty average here , The highest was sound 64LPA and average for Btech CSE is aound 5-6LPA. More than 1000 compaines come to hire from clg, the clg takes initatives to help student get placed , i plan to apply for offcampus placement anyways because i want a 30+LPA package , which is pretty hard in here.

LPU fees are low and they do provide good scholarship , almost everyone get 25-30% scholarship and the average fees of the course , per sem of Btech CSE Becomes around 90,000 , with out any specialization , with specialization the fees increases by aound 20-30thousand .

The social life in LPU is awesome , the university itself has a whole 8-9story building just filled with rooms of different clubs and almost evertime there is a event goining on , we can join any clubs we like and i my self has been a part of various clubs in the college's first year. Talking about sports the sport opportunites are also good , LPU has many olymics , asian games gold medialist and Neeraj Chopra him self was from LPU .

Hostels are pretty good , the fees of hostel for a non AC 4 bed -room is 90,000 and for AC room it is 10000 more which makes it 1,00,000. The hostels are cleaned regualry by the staff and good hygine is maintained.But the mess food quality is literally shit , its better not to take mess and eat out in foodcourts and other shops do not waste money on mess. even if you take mess take 2times one the Breakfast + Dinner one. In room there is a attached Toilet and Bathroom. you get one bed and a table , you have to bring your own matteress.

The addmission process was smooth , i applied in LPUNEST, lpu's entrance test for scholarship with i cleared and got scholarship of 20% which made my fees go from 1,50,000 to 1,20,000 , The fees of LPUNEST Exam was around 1500-2000 . And it contained basic class 12th questions. The difffuclty was medium and it was around 3hr long.
