Likes

Very good campus life like the annual fest and clubs are up to mark
Sports facilities are good have all kinds of outdoor sports available
Infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are fitted with ac and projectors

Dislikes

Placement is not upto mark as batch is very big. Only few students get 10 lakh + jobs as avg placement for total batch is around 5 lakh
Tuition fee is pretty high compared to the placement offered
Course curriculum is outdated needs some improvement to match industry standard

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is aligned with the needs for tech based industry. In the first year all branch have same subjects but after 1st year the course gets oriented to it's specific branch. In first year we have to learn C language which is outdated and many other subjects in curriculum needs to update to match industry standard. We have class test, mid sem and end sem in each semester. And it's difficulty level is medium

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered to students in their 3rd year. Companies like dell, Intel, cisco, Microsoft comes for internship with their regular stipends. Projects on full stack web development, cloud computing , machine learning , cyber security are made by students in their minor projects.

Placement Experience

Students in seventh sem are eligible for campus placement. Companies like google, Microsoft, bosch, dell, intel , cisco and many more comes for campus placement. 2350+ dreams and super dreams offers made and 900+ total recruiters. Hightest package of 64 lakh 14.97 avg package for top 10? . 70? of batch gets placed. My plans is to prepare for gate exam after btech

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is 180000 per semester and it gets increased every year. Examination fee is 4500 per sem. There are various scholarships available like merit based scholarships on lpunest, cuet and jee mains. Special scholarship for topper of state board. Financial aid for defence, paramilitary, capf, orphans,person with certain disabilities.Campus placement do occurs in college. Companies like cisco, bosch, dell, Microsoft, google comes for on campus placement

Campus Life

The annual fest is spectra which helds during feb. And the technical fest youth vibe occurs every year. Library has all kinds of books available which range from technical background to finance to law books everykind of books are available in library. All classrooms are ac fitted and have projectors fitted for teaching on smartboards. All kinds of outdoor sports available in college and students run social groups like dance club, singing club, acting club, etc.

Admission

Admission to btech course is either by lpunest Or cuet and having 60? aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and english. The application form is available on its official website itslelf and available during jee mains and cuet result. Admission entrance exam is not very tough and for jee mains it is 2 times in a year and cuet one time. Students having 80-85%ile in jee mains or 50%ile both gets cse branch so it leads to difference in students knowledge.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Big campus and beautiful garden and environment
Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Dislikes

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
