What Students Say

Likes

We have a very good campus life inside compared to other colleges
We have a big mall inside our campus premises which makes our works easy enough.
We have a building called as DSW where there are many types of clubs for extra curricular activities for students.

Dislikes

I think it is safe inside the campus but it is very dangerous outside the campus
I think hostel fees is too much compared to other hostel rates.
I think mess food is very bad it could be better so that every student would afford it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I think the course provided by our college is very good and as well as very practical in terms of our past college. The teachers are very friendly as well as very helpful and knowledgeable. Most of the classrooms and labs are clean as well as well maintained. The exam's difficultly is medium level which can be cracked with proper time given to that subject.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

I'm in my first year so I'm not sure about my campuses placement but what we have heard from the seniors and faculties is we have huge no of opportunities in our college for the placements. College also helps students who want to go to other countries for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is increasing by 20000 every year by our time it was 120000 and we have 3 categories in the scholarship section that depends on the LPUNEST marks and to my knowledge 30000-35000 is the maximum scholarship a student can get.

Campus Life

I think in my college the college life is best and we can feel safe inside the campus. The campus is well maintained with security guards and cameras everywhere. The campus is also so clean as well. We also have a mall inside the campus itself.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are decent comparisons with the other college hostel facilities. I think I am not a great fan of the mess as I don't like the food or menu of the mess. I mostly prefer don't think of applying for the mess. U can buy your food from the stalls from the food court as it would be a better option than the mess.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

We have to write an exam called LPUNEST conducted by LPU itself it is available online as well offline. We get our scholarship according to our score of the LPUNEST. We can also submit our jee mains percentile as well as boards marks also.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
