Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was pretty fascinated with the allied health sciences department when i was researching through the variety of courses when i was deciding i got to see this course bsc.Aott and i got to research and saw their curriculum which was pretty much good because they prepare us for the real world with their practicals and regular exans and make sure we are not all losers when we get on our own.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees in this college yenepoya is a little bit high and not everyone could afford without financiam support and they provide a small discount of 50% for students who scored above 90% in their 12th boards,And for the normal students the rate is 580000rs for tution fees excluding the hostel fees.they set us up with their partnered hospitals for the internship in the final year which has a variety of top hospitals.

Campus Life

3.5

The yenepoya university conducts a varity of events. Since i joined we had a freshers/cultural program and we had a food fest conducted by our seniors and a sports day which was indoor and we will have our outdoor sports. There is big library available inside the college which has all the required books which we will nedd for references.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel which we are provided with is a very good one with all the facilities like AC and we have our laundry service and we hace good food and there is non veg atleast 3-4days a week and there is veg food for the vegetarians. The food is good and there no complains coming from the student side. The hostel fees is about 85000rs in first year and it increases per year.

Admission

The admission process was fast and I got in through an agent he set me up with the college and the staff from the college contacted me directly. There was a minimum percentage of 75% in 12th boards to be eligible to enter this college. They give test papers regularly to keep up with the portions and the internals are well timed for no stress and easy studying for the students, the exams are not that difficult nor easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
