What Students Say

Likes

We have a building named DSW where we have opportunities for students to take place in other clubs.
I think the tution fees is also very affordable in comparison to other collgees.
We have a mall inside the campus which makes our work very easy.

Dislikes

I think places outside our campus is very dangerous,.
I think here there is too much competition here is too much which makes students feel insecure.
I think mess food here is very bad which makes every student to buy from the stalls.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the subjects that we were provided with are the best and common amongst all the colleges. I think the difficulty is also ok and we could get good grades if we study as we know. The timetable is also almost flexible for every student as differs for everyone.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Placement Experience

We are in first year so we dont know the reality of the placements here but as far as my knowledge from seniors as well as from faculties the placements and opportunities we are provided are very much and good enough for a average student to get an placement from a good company,.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fees is 120000 without scholarship but we have many opportunities for the scholarship we can get scholarship through the lpunest as well as boards marks as well as from jee percentile. We have 3 categories in scholarships.

Campus Life

I think campus life in LPU is the best among the all the colleges i know. As we have exposure of all the students from different states. As we meet different people from different states we could know our india better.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

We have hostels inside the campus which are very decent in comparison to other colleges over here. I think hostel fees is more and expensive as places outside the campus are dangerous. So i would prefer hostel over outside pgs.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

We have to write an exam called LPUNEST conducted hy th LPU itself and also we can scholarship through this exam. We can also get into this college woth jee mains percentile and also boards marks. But I would prefer writing LPUNEST.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
