Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Speaking about the course curriculum I think Lpu was doing it's work as you it depends upon individual how Well you perform.. And the main thing was you can get to know different types of people over there and you'll try to outstand...you can make good friends.. I don't say it was completely good without any cons but compared to many it was not that bad .....since there are so many people in the same course u have to work hard to get a decent placement.. if you are from south and don't know much about the Hindi Language it might be difficult to understand the faculty... at starting I felt the same but days were passed and I think I've improved.. ofcourse there are so many people from south tooo you don't have to feel left out..and the college offers you many programmes ( courses) industrial visits. Talking about the campus it was literally huge .. good infrastructure.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

As I'm in my first year I'm not into any internships but I have known many seniors who were offered internships in both on and off campus they have been offered roles like we developer .... video editor and many more I'm sorry that I don't know much about it.. but I will surely get to know about everything and I'll reach out to u all again

Placement Experience

4

The placements were the main thing that attracts many people.. and lpu fullfill the requirements of the placement and make you eligible for the role and further on you have to take a lead with your lead

Fees and Financial Aid

**Tution fees varies for each course u can assume It to be 1 lakh per semester in and average.... Maximum everyone will get some kind of scholarship.. I feel the hostel fees are bit high...and mess was worth it you'll have options to choose and there is no such rules that you have to stay only in University hostels that's upto you... Coming to the safety of girls u can be rest assured it was highly secure and safe..if u follow the rules it was great ... Campus employment...this is where everyone reading this gets interested or u may wanted to know about the placement was very good if you are a bright student again the college or the faculty does its work completely and lots of companies visit our college.. And after all it was you who are responsible for your placement ....

Campus Life

4

The library was huge too there are available of almost every book you need the social groups were quite interesting as you can get to know PPL from different places .... There are many fests held in the campus u can enjoy ur life tooo

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Since it was college hostel you can't expect it to be 10/10. But it was far better than many out there...you can have 1..2.3.. sharing rooms U can avail standard rooms or apartments too ..and for meals quality it was not homely but you can eat healthy.. there are South and North meals available you can choose any of them

Admission

We can get into lpu through various paths like Jee mains 12 boards LPUNEST I've joined through lpunest u can find the details in the official website of LPU U Can avail scholarship according to the category of marks obtained by you in the above exam.... Exam was completely on basics...

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Computer Science)

In every aspect compared to CU I feel lpu was better

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
