What Students Say

Likes

I think the campus life is something that we live only once so the best part is the campus life
The colleges infrastructure is also quite nice
The friends that you made is lifetime and gives you more energy

Dislikes

I think the classroom furniture is bit old
Labs needs to be well furnished and required maintenance

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the only reason I chose this course is to explore.. And everyone knows engineering gives you the exposure that you wanted in your life also the exams that held very often gets us prepared for the upcoming challenges It's not that easy but learning engineering is fun you can generate your field of interest

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 127000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since hbtu is a govt cllg the fees per year is approx 2 lacs including mess and hostel fees and you can also apply for scholarships but your annual income should be less than 2 lacs or 2.5 lacs. Also the campus placement is kind of good now since now various platforms gives your opportunity so you can apply off campus as well

Campus Life

3.5

The best thing about cllg life is about the cllg fests and celebrating festivals together with friends. There are many subcouncil in cllg that take care of the different different events also the facilities of classroom are good I say atleast we got projector Also sports are also active

Admission

Being a PCM student I think I had decided in class 12th to give Engineering entrance exam like JEE I took a drop since due to covid board had canceled and a year wasted I starting preparing for jee by online sources and I had took pw batch for jee it was very helping for the doubts and Q n A.. The eligibility of jee is quite simple you just required 75% in boards The application form is available on the site of JEE 2024 and you have to pay fees online, fees may vary from category to category like its different for general, OBC,SC/ST. The JEE exam consists of two papers that is one is JEE mains and JEE ADVANCED now to give jee adv you have to clear the cutoff of jee mains which depend on your category then only you are allowed to sit in the jee advanced exam . The mains exam is conducted in shifts like morning shift n afternoon shift you also it continues for 5 days but the advanced exam is conducted only on 1 date and you have to appear in both the shifts unlike in mains.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

My collage identity

This college is the 2nd best B.Tech college in UP after IIT and its placement is also good. One has to clear JEE for admission in HBTU in which one has to get rank in thousand for CSE .Those with lower rank can try the sports round once, in which there are more chances of losing admission in lower branch like FT OT. Since my rank was 10 lakh, my admission also happened in the sports round....Read More

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More
