My review for UC palayam

There is no entrance exam or related such things for the exsmination. We could simply get admission through Kerala Unuversity allotment process. I selected the college because this was 1st rank in KIRF and 26th rank in NIRF when i applied. As by the number of famous aluminies and the history of college i thought this was one of the historic college which was the pure British Victorian Architecture. I chose this college because this is one of the oldest and most reputable institutions in Kerala. I have applied to numerous other colleges but this was my first preference. I have also applied for colleges under Delhi University. To be exact, the colleges I applied for were Miranda College, Delhi and Hindu College, Delhi. I then dropped the idea of getting into Delhi University because of the distance. I have approximately 3 days of travel from Kerala to Delhi by train. Besides, the cost of living was also found to be on the higher end when I researched about Delhi. So, I decided to go for a college that was within Kerala but was also good in terms of providing quality education. I got selected to Hindu College, Delhi but then I chose University College Trivandrum over it. The admission procedure to University College Trivandrum is completely merit based. In order to secure an admission, you should score at least 85 percentage and above in your 12th standard board exam. Any other extra curricular activities will be an added advantage for the admission. I had participated in state level science fair competition and was also a member of NSS unit of my school which both served as an added advantage for me. You can also get an easy admission into this college if you have secured any position in state level or national level sports competition. There aren't any eligibility entrance examinations to get into this particular college. My overall admission experience was satisfactory. The whole process would take somewhere around 1 to 3 weeks. If you are someone who is looking forward to get into this college, make sure you score really well in 12th standard board examination while also being and active participant in extra curricular activities of the school. NSS, NCC, various State level competitions and exceptional skills in sports can easily get you a seat in this college. University college is government college so the admission is based on merit. The qualification for getting admission is plus two passed with above 50% mark. It is a highly reputed college with highly talented students so students need good marks to get admission. There is no entrance examinations you can apply under kerala university.
