What Students Say

Likes

Teachers are really good and they are very supportive.
Social clubs and socities give good exposure.
Campus infra is very well built and modern.

Dislikes

Attendance scenario of 75 percent is what I dont like.
Canteen food is not upto the mark, many students hate it.
You get lot of assignments and tasks in semester.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and teachers are nice. They solve all the doubts of the students and they regularly held classes. Teachers are very passionate to teach students and curriculum makes them more good.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Based on LPUNext test score, scholarships are provided like 50 percent, 30 percent, etc. You are provided this scholarship in all semesters. Fee structure is 120000 per semester excluding shcolarship.

Campus Life

Overall campus life is good. There is lot of diversity in college, lot of students come from different areas and you get exposure to different cultures. You can make new friends and there are lot of social clubs and socities too.

Admission

Student has to study PCM in class 11th and 12th for admission in BTech, Computer Science. Then there was a admission test for admission in college, LPUNext. Based on this test score, student gets scholarship in three phases.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
