A Brief on My experience in RIT.

Specific aspects: The curriculum at RIT covers a wide range of subjects relevant to the chosen field of study.in electrical core subjects like maths, physics, chemistry along with electrical subjects are included.Elective courses are also available to streamline their interests. Real world applications: The curriculum provides both theoretical knowledge and also the practical skills necessary for real-world applications. Example-Lab sessions,expert talks,industry collaborations etc. Areas for improvement:industry relevance must be increased, soft skils development must be incorporated and in teaching methods, there must be interactive learningand also technology integration. Frequency and timing of exams: the frequency of exams depends upon the academic calendar generally being two internals and one semester exam. the timing is generally in the internals is the first houe of the day followed by regular classes, and sem exams are generally the first 3 hrs of the day.

Infosys Wipro Tata consultancy services IBM Bosch Accenture Deloitte Intel Microsoft Cisco These are the comapnies which offer internships with a reasonable amount of stipend. Projects:Devoloping and testing software appications for clients.

Placements: The placements season starts from your 6th semester.there is a dedicated placement officer for each department who takes care of placements. there are numerous number of comapnies that visit Rit.right from onsite job offering to offsite jobs are offered. The highest package in RIT is about 50 lakhs and avarage package is abount 7 lakhs. Abount 99% of students get placed who apply for placements. My plans after getting degree is to write GRE.

tution fee increase policy: Rit has a policy regarding tution fee increase.These increase typically depend on inflation , operational costsand improvement in facilities and infrastructure. the complete cost of my education would come arounfd to be 12 lakhs there are alumini schloarship , sc and st scholar ships , mid day meal scholarships , laptop scholarships.

the annual fest conducted in RIT is Udbhav which typically happens in the summer months. there lots of fests happening in the campus which are conducted according to the respective clubs related. there are two main libraries in rit and also a library foe each department therefore there is no shortage of books or journals relating to a particular topic.

Eligibility of the course: Must have at least an aggregate of over 70 percent in 10th and 12th standard.Must have appropriate ranking in KCET and COMED-K examinatiions to be eligible for a particular course. The application forms and applicatiob fees of every college appicable under K-CET and COMED-K will be specified their websites.And regarding the fees it varies upon the college chosen. I had come to RIT by comed-k examination.The difficulty level for COMED-K is moderate but the competition is high,as it is an all india exam.I got a rank of around 21000 thus joined the electrical department of RIT. Some suggestions for improvement during the admission process is that by showing importance to merit students rather than management entry students.
