7th semester onwards placement is given to students.
Students get internships from 5 th sem onwards and some even get paid internships in good companies.
Companies such as Amazon, Goldman Sachs vist giving packages worth 12-15LPA.
The highest-paid job offer each year is landed by ISE department and it is about 20LPA.
In ISE, CSE nearly 100% placements are provided. Some opt for research and further studies.
I plan to land a good job and continue further in the field of IT.
I had applied to VIT, BITS, KIIT, COMEDK colleges, and JEE Colleges. I got a JEE MAIN percentile of 97,and had got placed in NIT Pondicherry, Branch ECE. I opted out as I found that ECE had low placement there. I had secured a rank of 13K in VIT, I didn't apply for counseling there. My kitten rank was 390 but I didn't opt for KIIT too as it was a bit too costly.
In COMEDK I secured a rank of 1237. My score was 128/180. I am a general candidate and I applied for counseling and ended up getting an ISE branch in RIT, Bangalore.
In COMEDK you need to be fast and accurate if you want to secure a good rank(<1500).
The admission process was online, once you get the college finalized by COMEDK, the college directly contacts you about admission. You can attempt comedk as many times you want till 21 years age. You need to have decent marks in PCM for the admission process.
Good college, excellent lecturers, good placements and overall a good experience at the college. They have a good reputation. Many students join this college because of the above mentioned aspects and the faculties and the staffs are very helpful. I would recommend this college to anyone without any hesitation.
No such things. There was no group discussion or interview or written test for the admission. I got my seat through CET(competitive Entrance Exam). So it's a must to have a good ranking to get this college.
7th sem students become eligible for placement companies that come to our college include TCS Amazon, IBM, Wipro, BHEL, Flipkart, Google, Qualcomm and many more. The highest is around 25 LPA. Average around 7 LPA. My plan after my college degree is to opt for MBA.
The good aspect is the college campus is in the centre of Bangalore.
The bad aspect is College campus is too small.
Admission procedure: Three ways Comedk, Kcet, Management. I prefer Ramiah because it is in Bangalore which provides good exposure to learn new skills. I use Quora to get a review about the college.
Placement in the college campus is decent not very good but okay with many major mass recruiters coming to campus to recruit a major chunk of students and some good companies visiting the campus as well. Companies like ABB, ICICI SECURITIES, JP MORGAN, ORACLE, MICROSOFT ETS visited the campus. The highest package stood at 24 LPA and the average package offers at 7.5 LPA with profiles of marketing, IT, Consultancy etc.
The location of the college is prime being in the IT hub of India Bangalore with a lot of on-campus and of campus opportunity through the curriculum of the college is really hectic and very old being useless in practical fields. The college lags beings visited by good companies and MOUs with a foreign university, which improves college diversity. The admission is done through comedy examination on the national level, KCET AT the state level, and through management quota. One should prefer this college for CSE, ISE, and ECE branch being at strategic position one can find a good job and even good anchor investors for the funding of one's startup. I referred to collegedunia and Shiksha while selecting the college.
College surroundings are good but placements for CIVIL and MECH are less comparitively. The admission can be done through KCET/COMED-K. KCET is only for the people of Karnataka whereas COMED-K is for Non-Karnataka people. If you want more information, you can the college website i.e., www.msrit.edu
Online objective test is conducted by the government all over India for the admission purpose. Students have to crack the exams either K - CET or COMED - K. Depending on the marks and rank obtained, the colleges will be allotted.
The college belong to the elite students as only with high scores can make it.It's also no. One private college in the state. Also it ranks at 63rd in the whole country. the admission begins with clearing the CET exam. One must have below 5k rank to crank any of the branch in ramaiah. It's extremely competitive. After the CET results are announced one can option entry the branch needed. There are some quota reserved. Well if you get in congratulations as you cracked the top one college in the state under VTU.The management seats are admitted based on the applications which one has to submit in their website. And there are comedk seats too.I don't know much about that process. The reason for the preference is mentioned but I still want to say more. The college provide opportunities for research and project. One can apply for funding if the project is good enough one can get Grant from govt as well. Many students who want to pursue masters in abroad write research papers under faculty guidance. And skills like simulation and other industry needed are taught in the college. The campus is equipped with apple Microsoft Boeing IBM research labs. One can use them for their projects. To tell in a overall perspective who doesn't like to study in a college that has good aminities and ranks 63 in country according to nirf Ranking. But still placements sucks for non circuital branches. But I guess it's same more or less in other colleges.
Placement Experience :
The college has the highest package offered among the private college in the state. But make no mistake as salary I'm talking about is for the circuital branches or IT branches. The campus placements kind bad for branches like chemical mechanical and biotechnology civil etc.The highest offer was 5000000 and lowest were 3.5 lkThe average lies around 6 - 8 lk for IT For chemical the highest was 6lk lowest was around 2.5lk average stays at 4-5 lkAfter our 3 rd year we are Eligible for the placements. Akzonobl and Yokogowa are the company visited
From 7th sem students become eligible whose CGPA is 6.75 or above
The highest package was 35l and the least was 2.2l.
85 percent of people get placed in companies.
bad- the playground is far away from the college.
Through KCET got admission
I love Ramaiah as it's not located in the outskirts, everything is accessible for hostlers.
I don't remember the blog mostly msrit.edu, u get all info through this.
Students are eligible to sit for placements from the end of the 6th sem and the majority of students start their internship in their 6th sem. The placement training cell provides training for aptitude, GD, and various other interpersonal skills. ITs headed by an industry person. The highest placement in the College was for 50L. Many leading tech companies arrive here for placements. About 95% of the students are placed regularly each year.
The college has a very great history, it has a very huge campus and many other essential facilities are available nearby. It's close to all means of transport and has great placements. The admission process is very simple, after the seat is allotted by the K-CET, we need to come to the college within the given date and make the admission after the general verification process, and the remaining admission fees are to be paid in the college.
I preferred this college due to its presence in the city and the exposure it offers to the student to progress ahead and also due to its placement statistics.
The best thing attracted me about my college is the placement offers and the ranking of college in NIRF.other than this the next attraction was the college atmosphere and infrastructure.More over Ramaiah institute of technology is the most famous college in Karnataka and those who gets admission there is kind of previlage too.
Placement Experience :
The most popular company visted last year is EY.other than this many other companies including byjus, jadu, prestige estate company visiting our campus.
The placement scene is pretty good in Msrit. The students are eligible for placement in the 7th semester which is technically the fourth year. There are lots of companies visiting campus every year including Amazon, Google, ola, uber, Flipkart, etc. The highest package which was taken in our brand is 15lpa and the average package is around 5 LPA which is good. Almost 95% of students get placed every year from our branch and that too is placed perfectly. My plans are basically to join a company and achieve a good package of around 10lpa which is good start pakage.
It's NIRF ranking is 59 which includes best in South India right now. Admission via COMETK which is held during May usually and results comes in July end. It's very good in engineering background in COMETK section of the exam. You can search for results in collegedunia for more information about the review.
