Gargi college is a good college and the management is also good.
Entrance Preview
This college is good and reputed. It has good faculty. Also, the infrastructure of this college is awesome. The crowd here is also different and good. Besides all this college provides the chance to get involved in various extra curricular activities. So I took this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good. The subjects taught are much relevant to the course. The practical subjects, as well as theoretical, are good. Also, the lab classes are there for the practical subjects so that we understand them better in lab classes.
Internships Opportunities
Yes our college do provides for internships.They call companies to recruit the students.This year the companies such as Deloitte came.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities is also good.There are a lot of good companies that came and recruited the students for the jobs.Rest depends on the students that how they take them .Otherwise the college gives opportunities for placements in big companies.
College Events
The events are as follows- Diwali function which is called Zistatva is celebrated every diwali. Reverie which is our annual fest is celebrated every year and is a grand event. Annual day is celebrated to give away the prizes to students. Farewell is there to good bye the previous batch.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible and affordable.They take 10000 for the entire year which I think is appropriate to take.The examination fees and the commerce fest fees is also included in that fees.I think the fees is feasible and affordable for all the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i am not aware about any scholarship or loan facility offered by our college.i have not availed it either.
Campus Life
Our college is an all girls college so gender ratio does not enters.The extracurricular activities are there.Sports,dance,music,drana,debates,art and craft etc activities are there in which students participate and bring glory to our college.They are good.
Hostel Facilities
Gargi college does not provide any kind of hostel facilities to the students.The students who are out station students live in the near by pgs.So also the mess food is not there.But the canteen food and the nescafe is quite good of the college itself.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is good.The seniors try to help in every situation.when we need to choose a subject the seniors help us out.
Exam Structure
The exams are held semester wise.There are two semesters each year .First exam of the year takes place in November .The second is held in May.So there is three months gap after each semester that is every semester is of three months .examination fees is also there.
Admission
There was a form which was a combined form for all the colleges of Delhi university which was to be filled before the admission process begins.So i filled that and firstly took admission in some other college and when the cut off of Gargi college matched with my result i withdrew from the previous college and took admission in Gargi college.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is good.They are themselves from reputed colleges .They teach very well and are really supportive.They take extra lectures and doubt sessions to clarify the problems and doubts of the students.So the faculty overall is good.
