I chose because I got the first cutoff in Kirori Mal College. also, English faculty at Kirori Mal College have experienced professionals like Keval Arora and Sanjay Verma. It is one of the best colleges in North campus. Also, the college is very near to my payment guest residence.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty tough even though its competitive to the world-class syllabus. The literature covers 65 percent of the syllabus. literature include American literature, British literature, postcolonial literature, Renaissance literature if you are not a person with reading interest it would be tough for you.

The college societies provide lots of internship opportunities which is inter College in nature also there are department magazines.
Placement Experience
For English honors, it is pretty hard for direct placement even though there are opportunities in journalism and creative writing field. Open media companies like NDTV Times now conduct placement drive in college the placement cell avenues try to enhance college placement drive.

Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities pretty good. The canteen of college offers poor service the canteen does not provide tasty food also the food quality and the overall ambiance of the canteen is very poor. I often go to Hindu College canteen which is very near to Kirori Mal College.

Alumni network is pretty active. did you often visit colleges and provide financial support for the college programs Amitabh Bachchan. who is an alumnus of Kirori Mal College have sponsor 50 lakhs for the college auditorium.
Exam Structure
The choice-based credit system is followed which 6 semesters in 3 years with total 100 marks in which 25 marks are internal which is evaluated through assignments internals and attendance the remaining 75 marks are evaluated through examination. The exams are not so hard.
Admission
I got admission through cutoffs. The college checks the overall percentage of plus two and plus one marks. For English honors, the best four subjects mark is calculated and my best four subjects include English, Arabic, computer science and chemistry the mark of English is necessary to take admission for English honors.

for English honors faculty of Kirori Mal College is one of the best faculty in Delhi University professor like Keval Arora Rudraahish Sanjay Verma who has done masters from foreign countries like the United States the United Kingdom etc. the English department also conduct Ocean wale which is the workshop for English masters aspirants.
