the campus itself is wuite impressive in the state of infrastructure,it was well equipped with libraries,sport facilities ,laboratory etc
Vibrant campus life,supportive community and opportunities for extra curricular activities
emphasize of practical learning through internships,hand on projects and placements abd industry tie ups

Dislikes

the size of the campus is quite ovewhelming we need to walk ling reach our respective classes
the canpus is situate distant from the mahor cities so it is diifucult to reach to them for any need
the accadameic workload is too hectic and competetive

Course Curriculum Overview

Currently in first year we cources which is common for btech students with practical classes and orientation calsses and soft skill classes are also provide for improvising our view on our cource and enhancing our communication skill additionaly placement iriented classes for leveling up us into good package exams are conducted as mid term and end term in a semester of 6 months

many start up companies and wee-known company like amazon,zoom,cisco provide internship oppurtunities in the campus which enables student to have an hand owned experience in their domain before completing the cource they can earn from the work they had there

Placement Experience

Good placements are offered for students with cgoa above 7 and additionaly placement classes are also there to prepare students for appearing placement interviews.after completing cource campus provide an option for higher studies abroad with the help of the tie-up university have

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently the fees structure of my cource is 290000 for an year with scholarship of 25% which we will able to get by attaining good marks in lpu nest entrance exam and campus also provide us with seed money for our startups

Campus Life

There is an annual event done every year in the campus on the month April named "One-India" in which students represents there states by performing their cultural and traditional art form establishing stalls etc.clubs are also actively working which is engaged in the field of extra curricular activity.libraries are bug with huge collection of novels ,fiction ,books for reffering which helps in our cources.classrooms are provided with projectors,fans and airconditioners

Hostel Facilities

Currently there are 6 boys hostel and 7 girls hostel the fee for standard ac 4 seater room for boys is 1lakh and addition we need to pay 40000 for 4 times meal which is optional becoause there is many food stalls in the university itself which provide tasty foods ,the quality of hostel meal os average

Admission

admmiision process are done very well.everything is done via online we can avail a scholarship upto 25% by attending good score in lpu nest exam or CUET score.we dont need to face anyboroblem regarding admission when we reached the campus

Faculty

The faculties provided with us are of with great wualification and there teaching methodolgy is quiet good ,we can have a meeting with our mentors every month and discuss our queries and problems to them and get the solutions. The notes of the respective lectures are provide after the classes .additionally remedial classes and and doubt clearing sessions are also held

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

I like infrasture and the campus facilites most.
Events and fests are also good and orgainsed regularly.
Students get more opportunities here in university.

Dislikes

Hostel food is not good but eatable and enough.
Dresscode is on wednesday that is must to wear.
Massive campus you may face difficulty in roaming.

The curriculum covrs important computer sciemce subject such as programming,DSA, java DBMS,OS and software development.These subjects influenced decisions to choose this course because they provide a stromg foumdation for software engineering . examinations include MST ,EST and assessments .

Chandigarh University the best university

Likes

college life of Chandigarh university is so good, all the events do happen .
teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

my overall experience at the college has been good so far
the faculty members are generally helpful
campus life is active with various cultural and technologies events

Dislikes

one thing i feel can be improved is the amount of pratical and industry oriented learning
some claases can be more theroy oriented so more hands on activities and pratical sessions would be beneficial
during major events and peak hours the campus become crowded

the course curriculum is realvent and fairly comprehensive i choose computer science engineering because it covers importnt ares such as programming data structures data base software development and emerging technologies

A Balaced College Experience With Great Campus Life

Likes

i like everthing about the college.
i like the supportive faculty behaviour.
the college also provide placement guidance.

Dislikes

Some areas could be improved especially the placement.
A few courses felt more theory focused than industry oriented.
Student enagement oppourtunities would make campus life better.

I would rate the course around 5 . i choose the courser because it provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and paractical concepts relevant to my career goals as well.

A Great College Experience with Learning, Growth and Opportunities

Likes

Good campus infrastructure and modern facilities for students.
Supportive faculty and a good learning environment.

Some administrative processes can take more time than expected.
The campus can be crowded during peak hours.
Hostel and mess facilities could be improved further.

The curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical skills relevant to the course. It provides a good foundation for real-world applications and further studies. Exams are conducted regularly and are generally manageable with proper preparation. The curriculum could be improved by adding more practical projects, industry exposure and updated topics.

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
