Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Medical imaging technology is a course of. 4 years. 4th year is an internship. There are a total of 8 semesters. Each semester is 6 months. Posting to the hospital starts at the third semester. Medical imaging technology is one of the leading courses.

Class Size: 175Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided by college itself. Many good hospitals are partnered with Yenepoya to provide internship for students. Yenepoya hospital is good for internship. We can choose any hospital we want from the shared list.

Fees and Financial Aid

Each semester has a fee payment of 600000. If we have 90 percentage marks above in 12th scholarships are available. Every year by year fee payment will be increased. If fee payment is delayed fine will be there.

Campus Life

Cultural programs, sports and athletics, Good food, Eco friendly campus, so many extra curricular activities, Air conditioned classrooms, high tech classrooms with screen, anti ragging, good facilities. The library have good stock of books.

Hostel Facilities

Air conditioned room Heater is available Register is through agency Some necessary like bedsheet, bucket, plates, bottles will be provided. Room share in my hostel is 8 persons so it is hard for us.

Hostel Fee: INR 840000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course - 12th science stream and marks - 60% above. Application forms will be available in the college or admissions-taking agents. There will be 2 internal exams in one semester so semester exams are easy.

Faculty

Faculty are strict and non friendly. Some faculties are inexperienced. Teaching method is the best and easy to understand. Faculties are oragnized, responsible, some faculties are nice. Makes learning easier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall the course is good . It has got good scope now and in future. I have dual course speech and hearing . After my undergraduation i can take any one of these and go for further studies . It has good scope in abroad aswell. The curriculum is prepared well and practical knowledge we get here is good expecially at manipal .

The institute is affiliated to the University of Mysore and is recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India, Govt. of India. In order to get admission, the eligibility is Minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST Candidates) in science group in their PUC or + 2 or any Equivalent examination. The applicant/candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any one of Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology.

As there's is positive mentioned above, there's also some negative's. College won't have an good atmosphere, like peaceful campus. There's also no specific classrooms. the theory classes are taken inside college auditorium. As it is an hospital we should understand that.

A Quality is more important than Quantity

Firstly I choose this college for my better courier in my course.So over other colleges this is far better and perfect for me.
