Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course has medical subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry anesthesia microbiology pathology in the first semester. 2nd semester, they have all subjects except biochemistry. The subjects are a bit tough but also easy.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

As a medical student, we have internships in the 4th year and for normal students, the internship will be done at the yenepoya hospitals, and for affiliated students the interships will be done at the partnered hospitals in Kerala.

Fees and Financial Aid

so the fee structure is been changed every year. The 2022 batch had 50k now, we 2023 batch sem-wise fees are 60k, and the 2024 batch has 72250 sem-wise. The hostel fees for us are paid yearly which is 80k first year, then 84k in 2nd year then 90k in 3rd year, and 94k in 4th year.

Campus Life

3

The campus life is boring and also good and it depends. There are not many programs in the college but if there is a program, like an annual program conducted it will have a lot of nice participation and will be colorful and also very well educated. Books are there in the college library.

Hostel Facilities

2

some yenepoya hostels provides ac whereas some dont . but the thing is all the hostels with or without ac will be having the same fees structure. this year the hostel fee has been changed. in which for 6 sharing the hostel fee will be about 1,20,000 yearly

Admission

There were no entrance exams needed for this college. it was spot-on admission. First, you have to block the seat by paying 26k additional to book your seat. After that, they will inform a date on which we have to go directly to the college and pay the first sem fees along with the hostel fee

Faculty

3.5

Some faculties are very good and friendly with every student, but some faculties are not enough good and every time talk with an angry face ...but their classes and the way they teach is very well . The method of teaching is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
