Curriculum is designed according to the New education policy but there are not any significant changes in the syllabus. The syllabus is not indianised and cater to the needs of current industrial standard.Many areas need complete renewation and the complete rejuvenation according to the needs and demands of current times.

Internship are offered with good stipend but only for the limited students who really take interest in the activities of their department and campus and of project.You have to dedicate your time for the internship projects then u will get the roles. Almost every company like Google,Microsoft , American express, Mercedes benzetc have visited the campus.

Campus placement are open and offered to the students right from the sixth semester.There are poll of companies which visited the campus and even there is a training and placement cell specialised for this.If you want more details the you can visit the official website.Even students get very good offers from the offcampus mode as well .The highest package offered is about 1.2 crore while the average is about 16 lacs CTC. About 90-95 percent of the students sit for the placement are getting placed .

There are many scholarship opportunities u can get even from the university and from the outside sources as of like National scholarship portal . University provides 100 %tuition fees refund for the low income students(<=1 lakh).Even you are refunded partly upto Rs. 5 lakhs.every year tuition fees is hiked by Rs.10k .The complete cost of education come upto Rs.13 .5 lacs (excluding your personal expenses).There is USIP internship provided to the campus residents in which they are provided Rs.3500 per month on the basis of their performance .

I think DTU cultural fest called engifest is one of the largest fest in whole North India even IIT Delhi is behind DTU.many other fest such as Invictus( tech fest) E summit ( e cell fest) yuvaan ( literature and film festivals) are there in the campus.fest are held in the month of February.Sports and extra curricular activities are quite good .Clubs and societies are there which even got good findings from the university as well as outside sponsors.

The hostel facilities are available only for the outside delhi students.Then it will be on the basis of the distance from the campus.First year hostel as well as mess food are both bad. The hostel costs around 90 k for 3 seater NONAC.Hostel registration takes place through their website and the hostel committee will be supervising it.The pg are available all around the campus.

Eligibility of the course is that u must get 60% of the marks in inter boards. The admission is taken through JAC delhi counselling.It is similar to the JOSAA counselling but you get colleges on the basis of your jee main rank.You can find the application form on JAC delhi official website and u will be charged rupees for application which is non refundable.Reservation for delhi students is85%and for outside delhi is15% .There is also quota for the single girl child,defence quota ,Jammu and kashmir migrant quota etc.Admission process is bit lengthy and takes time.

The teachers are very well qualified but they are not going to teach you anything.Some of them are retired industry experts and in my department some of them are INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE OFFICER. so overall they have qualities but all in vain. The teachers are approachable but only for the .tech and p.hd. students.B.tech students are not allowed into the teachers cabin except the class monitor.The faculty to student ratio is quite good but they don't teach in the class.
