Loved the curriculum of the college and also teaching

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is strictly based on improvement of skills and focusing on the subject and understanding the concept and Focusing on coding skills and also they have various levels of examinations to check your skills and improve them.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There have been companies who have visited the campus with major companies like Microsoft Amazon Google offering internships and jobs with maximum once got of more than 1 lakh. You should have done real life based projects which are going to solve real life problems and outcomes should help surroundings in some or the other way.

Placement Experience

3.5

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus internships and placements. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google also visited the campus. Highest package offered in on campus in India from here is 64 lakh and average is 5-6 lakhs. Maximum students who focus on maintaining good CGP and development of skills get placement from University.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is less as I compare with some top counterpart Universities and I pay 112000 out of 150000 as the remaining is a part of my scholarship. Different types of scholarships are there based on their previous national tests or LPUNEST test . Different internships and jobs are provided as there are many clubs of various fields which can be joined to be creative.

Campus Life

There are many fests held here like freshers party, Dj nights and OneIndia fest . There are thousands of books of every field available in the library which are easily accessible and can be issued for a week. There are projectors and smart classes. There are many sports grounds and complexes in the university and all games are played here with competitions also held. There are many clubs for different purposes like dancing,singing,coding,etc. run by students and they help the students to be stress free and enjoy the life .

Hostel Facilities

We have AC or Non AC room ( with cooler) with bed and chair and table to study. Meal quality and menu of the mess is good . Registration of hostels can be done only for registered students through the university online portal with registration I'd and password and hostels here are booked with very speed and they are affordable with minimum starting from 70000. I currently live Boys hostel 5 which is somewhat far away from college building.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

As for national tests no cut off but for LPUNEST minimum 60% is required in 12 class. We can fill the LPUNEST exam online by visiting the official site. Exams are medium level with questions maximum of concepts from 11 or 12 class. Exams can be given from home via laptop or can be given from a centre alloted by University near your home.

Faculty

Our maximum faculty are well trained and almost all are Ph. D. Holders and others have industry experience which is necessary for a student and also there are faculty who are trained in psychology to help students face stress.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
