Our college management is better than a lot of private colleges, nits, and even IIT'S. If it gets some more fund it can improve a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is the same for all the first year students. And the exams here are only subjective type. In one semester there ate one mid-semester exams and one end semester exams.end semester constitutes 50% of the total marks and mid sem constitutes 30% of the total marks. The curriculum is up to date the curriculum will be very helpful in future engineering life.
Placement Experience
Placement of our college is very good even after it is situated at not a so good place. CSE has the best placements followed by ECE mechanical civil and electrical.
College Events
Innovision: this is the technical fest of our college where colleges from all over India visit. Cosmopolitan: this is the multi-ethnic fest. Vridhi: sports fest of our college. Nitrutsav: its one of a kind. Our technocultural fest. Independence day republic day is celebrated in our college by NCC parades and hall day garden fest are also there which are celebrated by hostellers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Admission Fee(one time) – Rs 1000. Tuition Fee(annual) – Rs 12000 for B.Tech, Rs 7500 for M.Tech/M.Sc, Rs 50000 for MCA and Rs 5000 for PhD. Other Fee (including lab and examination fees) – Rs 4000 for all. Institute Development Fee(annual) – Rs 10000 for B.Tech, Rs 5000 for M.Tech/M.Sc, Alumni Fee(paid in final semester) – Rs 500. Souvenir Fee(in pre final semester) – Rs 500.
Fees and Financial Aid
No being a general candidate there is no provision of scholarship for me. But in the future years maybe some scholarships can be availed. Institute is providing the scholarship to only SC and ST students regarding loan facility our institution has to tie up with SBI which easily provide a loan in favor of our college.
Campus Life
Our campus life is so cool but 85% attendance policy makes it a little difficult. Here 50% of people are from Orissa that is too from Bhubaneshwar Cuttack and Berhampur and 50% people from all other states. North Indians are too lean. Mess serves both veg and nonveg food. Gender ration is 1:10 that can not be said well.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni and seniors are very cooperative. They always encourage us and guide us so that we can perform well in the entrance examinations and the competitive examinations.
Admission
I got admission by JOSAA counseling. That is conducted for all NIT's and IIT's. The counseling process was very smooth. And it generally happens in the 3rd week of July. For to be eligible. You must qualify at least JEE mains.vthen you can fill your choices.
Faculty
Faculty of our institute is very supportive. They are always ready to help students. We can mail them anytime and go to their cabin for the clearance of our doubts. Also, the rest 20% marks are in the hands of teachers. They give then accordingly the tests taken in class and attendance based.
