Doon University (a green campus)

I have choosen B.Sc economics hons in this University as it was my interest and I saw many opportunities and wide scope in this course. The university is renowned for its wide range of langauge courses with international and national languages.

Several internship are offered to the students under government firms and goverment internships. I have participated in a survey "Niti aayog" for which I have received a good stipend. so there are many opportunities for students.

Inspite being a government owned University, the placement rate is quite impressive. Big company giants game maruti suzuki, Hitachi etc visit the campus for placement. Doon University is the first university in uttarakhand to implement New Education policy which makes students job ready.

The fees structure is nominal as it is a government owned University. The fees is submitted on the semester basis( twice a year) and there are many scholarship available in the university for needy students. There are many intership ongoing in the university throughout the year.

The university organises number of fest throughout the year like Diwali fest, Holi fest, annual fest, students fest and many more. The campus life is very chill and perfect for making good college memories.

Students firstly need to fill the online application form from the university's portal and then they have to clear the merit based exam. After the result they'll be called for enquiry with all the documents required. There is reservation benefits according to the category of students.

There is a professional, experienced and dedicated faculty staff in this University. Teachers are well qualified and makes all the efforts for making students job ready. There behaviour with the students is very nice.
