What Students Say

Likes

I Think I like the food quality inside the campus which is quiet good compare to other private colleges .
I like extra curricular activities held by the LPU which helps students to socialize and be active rather than all time studying .
Thing I also like is the diversity of college , from every part of college students have come here to Acheive something which is Good in diverse nature .

Dislikes

Obviously anyone would not like as we have long classes like 9 to 5 , that could be shorten
College provides various MOOCS on basis of courses available , prices are high that can be reduced

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course I choose has lot scope in future aspects and In LPU it is basically a hub of CSE , the more competition the more you learn and grow , the course here is good and you can learn and get the placement accordingly .

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement here is quiet good , you can avail placement in 3rd year , if you're eligible . Max Placement i think 64 L and And AVG is 6L i guess which is quiet good for private colleges . Also they provide internship opportunities .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is quiet simple , you can avail scholarship basis of Entrance and get upto 50% Scholarship , Tution fees 1.2L per Semester but mostly all the students get scholarship so benefits the students.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is top notch , one of the best campus in India , 600 Acres big campus . It really gave competition to IITS in terms of infrastructure . Sports here is very good , extra curricular activities is held on regular .

Admission

Admission process was quite simple , i deposited 10k and my seat was reserved , i get scholarship of 24k on the Basis OfJEE MAIN entrance . Processing can be smooth by making docs submitted hard copy .

Faculty

3.5

The qualification of professors is Good , mostly are doctorate and PHD holders , you can interact with them after classes anytime in the office , One one interaction in class is also good which makes faculty a much better other than any colleges.

Other Applied Colleges

MIT World Peace University - [MIT-WPU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I didn't get the CSE branch , i was getting electrical on the basis of JEE MAIN

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
