Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum is good according to new technology and inventions. Many new research and start-ups have started from our college. It still needs some improvement in some teaching method. They provide good curriculum that prepares student for real-world applications. But I think they should focus on more practical skills instead of written assignments and exams,

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Interniship opportunities in our college is good, our college provide various internship and training programs in summer vacation. Many companies like amazon, google developer clubs organize internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good in our college, countless companies visit in our campus with good opportunities for student. But most of the companies have a minimun CGPA criteria for students to take their exam. I think we should have atleast 7 and more for good placement opportunities. Highest package till now from our campus is 3 Crores. Average is around 7-8 lakh per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to study abroad for more career opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee of my course B.Tech CSE is 120000, but I got scholarship of 20%, so my final tuition fee is 96000. The complete cost for 1 year is 300000 including tuition fee, hostel fee and examination fee. I have recieved 20% scholarship from LPUNEST exam. Campus offers various part-time job opportunities and training and internship programs in summer vacation.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrasture is quite good of our college, we have our own mall, hotel and hospital in our college. We have many cultural and technical fests, including promotions of singers and actors. We have many social clubs in our college that teach us many important skills such as event organization, communications skills and soft skills. Many sports opportunities are provided and many famous athletes have graduated from here such as Neeraj Chopra and Goal keeper of Indian Hockey Girls team.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The room is decent, every necessary facility is provided such as laundry, room cleaning, dry cleaning and canteen. The meal quality is not so good but we get a special sweet in dinner every night, which is good. Registration process of Hostel is online and it is very simple and easy process.

Admission

So any student can apply for any course in our college, but the main thing is about the scholarship you get from the college. Application from, fees and dates is available at official website of Lovely Professional University. Reservations benefits are very less in our college as it is a private university. Exams are moderate level, but I think they take exams 4-5 times in a semester which is not so fair as per given time. They should focus more on practical learning.

Faculty

3.5

So the faculty-to-student ration in our college is 1:40. It is quite decent, students can easily take doubts. Every semester one faculty member is assigned to a student who is their mentor for whole semester and they can share any type of problem with them. There's a proper RMS (Relationship Management System) where students can complain about any issue, and it is solved within days. Teachers are also kind and friendly making it easier to learn and understand new concepts. But some teachers are mean too.

The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
