I opt for this course and the faculty of agriculture is very nice And for me this course is just wow because of the teachers and the whole faculty as they encourage each and every student yo learn in a good way

Fees per semester is 56-57 thousand and there are scholarship available for students for studing abroad also University provides number of scholarship for higher studies and the fee structure for hostel fees is according to the room

Campus Life

There are various clubs For dancing singing Extra activities and events also take place which provides participation of all the students who are interested There are various clubs formed and you can join them

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is also good You are provided with one chair study table bed and almirah The rooms are cleaned and the washrooms are also very clean Hostel food is good but it is better to stay in pg or rooms rather than hostels

Admission

Addmission is done on the basis of a addmission test which was conducted at the starting and then there will be interview round also Your +2 percentage also matters in the addmission process Thats all

Faculty

Teachers are interactive and they also conduct various types of group discussion with the assigned mentors for the students when the students are lacking in something or they need any help Sprint is also conducted for more interaction which is a plus point

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students ke eligible for placements The companies visited was one bayer and other companies but no offers were made 20 to 30% students can get proper placements as for others few opted for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement starts from 8th semester. Various agriculture related companies like Bayer, ITC, etc comes with offers. Highest package is 3-4 lakhs. Pursuing higher studies and build a career in agriculture sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Syllabus is so vast that we continuously have to give exams . There are approximately 10 courses average in each semester We have to give practicals , mid terms and finals of each course, which is a bit hectic task.

Tit bits about the agriculture university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as my father had studied the same course and had the same profession that I'm aiming for. For improvements i would like to recommend more practicals rather than theory classes as, practical knowledge is just as important as theoretical knowledge. The frequency of exams is a problem. There is very less gap between examinations which makes it difficult to prepare for the vast subjects. Plus, the marking is strict, and the criteria to pass the exams are also complicated.

About my college

Remarks:

Bad infrastructure Good facility College is good but there is no scope of placement We have to do msc and phd after this for obtaining a good job I think stipend is available in 4th year which is around 18000 for 180 days They didn't make students sufficient for practical work

Positive Remarks - Campus is good, Location of the college is good, Weather is excellent, No ragging. Negative Remarks - Some of the teachers are non cooperative, Very low mentality some of the people.
