Course Curriculum Overview
I chos Bcom regular so the depth to it is lower compared to other specialisations in bcom. I chose this course as I had to do CFA which could be done during or after a degree. Our curriculum helps me understand the basics and fundamentals of getting into a more advanced field like Financial Analytics. The exams are conducted at the end of the semester with a mid semester exam in between. Its fairly very simple compared to other shifts which I find as a disappointment
Internships Opportunities
Redefin Capital, Glad u came, Plan my venture were some recent internship companies which came. Also placement and internship cell is located in college to guide more. Minimum 6000 per month is given for students who need paid internships
Placement Experience
Campus placement is offered. Being in the 2nd year we are now having placement seminars and classes where we make resumes and portfolios. The placement recently offered to a student is 25 lakhs per annum after regular Bcom degree
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay 88000 per year as I am out of state I'll be paying extra also since I took additional english as my language it costs an extra 8000. Scholarships are provided for people with lower income and should provide income certificate to prove the same. Some students get scholarships as 5000 rupees every month
Campus Life
The college is known and celebrated for its associations. We are encouraged to participate in all curricular and non curricular activities. Inter college fests, sports , camps etc Faculties often pressure and force us to be part of it which I see as a pro and con at the same time
Admission
Interview was conducted as an entrance test and it was fairly simple with basic accounting questions. The admission application form can be found at sjuadmission.com and you can register for the course where they will send a mail confirming your interview I wish the test was tougher as it felt like they would let anyone with good communication in
Faculty
The faculty members of my shift is the best team I have come across , most of the teachers are young so it helps to put our ideas forward without feeling pressured or judged. This is a huge aspect as it continuously helps us grow with them.
