Likes

Campus-the main thing that attracts the people is the campus of lpu
We can avail many opportunities to overcome our weakness by attaining workshops
There are many courses and more career options are given with opportunities

Dislikes

Weather- climate changes suddenly we can't able to say
Some hostel like gh1 and gh2 don't have lift but it's construction is going on now
Other than weather it seems strictness for girls

Course Curriculum Overview

Here we can see the physical education department, hotel management and more which is very interesting but cse is the best branch with more placement opportunities talking about the exams there are 2 shifts and some are cbt and some are in omr

Internships Opportunities

We can avail internship from 2nd year companies like amazon., flipkart, paypal, tcs and more many companies visits every year and we can gain knowledge and experience from them for upcoming placement drives and it becomes easy

Placement Experience

From 6th sem that is 3rd year we can sit for placement drives , we can see more opportunities in cse companies like flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft are visiting with decent packages and the average salary is 5LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

For lpu we have the exam called lpunest where we can avail scholarship based on the marks obtained like for cse and ai if we selected olin 1st category the fee must be 172000 py but for other beaches can we see around 60k-70k py

Campus Life

There are many clubs and workshop available based on our interest we can join and we have separate libraries for separate branches, and one thing that i like is sports there are many opportunities given for sports

Hostel Facilities

Total there are 7 hostels for girls and 6-7 hotels for boys and every hostel have lift and separate mess with variety of food like South, north style and have unlimited wifi facility but hostel fee is more

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

I got scholarship of 30,000 by selecting in 2nd category list and my tution fee is 180000 per year . We can write lpunest from remote place or alloted place which is more flexibile and easy but the actual fee is 240000 py but based on scholarship we can deduct the fee

There are many faculty members to teach us but keeping aside this we are allotted to mentors where we can ask any doubt related to academics and non-acadamucs if we have and can clearify with them .

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

campus life and social interactionn : the campus is large and active with many clubs events hackathons and activities students get good opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and participate iin extrracurricular activities.
faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.
placement and career support: the university provides opportunities and conducts recruitment for drives forn students.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
