What Students Say

Likes

The best thing about the college is its campus anf architecture. It is spacious and a lot of greenery is present here.
The hostel facilities are best and the rooms are large and only three persons are present in each room.
It provides cse, ece, eee, civil, mech and food technology branches.

Dislikes

No specialization in a specific field is provided in college.
The canteen facilities are not that good.
Maintenance issues are there for the cleanliness

Course Curriculum Overview

I was always interested in computers so I took this course . The college definitely provided all the basics about a course but if u want advanced then we have ti usually keep our own efforts.the faculty members should be more enthusiastic about teaching that would be main change they should apply.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

The campus placement is low as it doesn't invite too many companies . so it is better to write the GATE exam or any other exams to get a job. Off campus placements are good as it certificate have a value.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is 12000 and as it is a govt. Institute so definitely it is affordable by poor students and the college doesn't collect any extra fee or any charges. The scholarships like JVD are provided students whose parents are not govt. Job holders.

Campus Life

3.5

The infrastructure is on top it is really good.large class rooms. The technical fests are conducted by branches on their basis . in cse hackathon is conducted every year. The annual day celebrations are conducted it contains ethnic day, sports day, etc...

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is affordable and we can pay the bills monthly and we get bills based on no.of days we were present in the college plus 2 days. The meal quality is good and non veg is provided 2 times a week.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

The only way to get admission in this college is by entrance exam called APEMCET .the application can be found on the official website of apmcet . there is reservation on caste basis and disability basis and also on NCC and other sports basis ...the difficultly level of exam is more than average .so we can clear the exam

Faculty

3.5

The students in each branch are usually from 60 to 75 in a year and the faculty ratio would be around 15 for a year and some of faculty also teach the other year students . so,considering this is ratio is definitely okay. Most of the faculty are qualified with m.tech or are pursuing their phd ..the faculty selection is done by the JNTUA anantapur by their exams and interviews.

Other Applied Colleges

SUV | CSE

Didn't get cutoff marks in emcet examination

My college journey

Likes

I like the facilities provided by the college like labs.
I like the placements provided by the college. Companies are too good.
I like the education quality and practical explanations

Dislikes

very often we are unable to get cooling water. but within two minutes it will be covered.
management is giving equal opportunities to everyone . What I felt is they should concentrate on toppers.
college management won't allow students to go out side of the campus without permission

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in my college are good and provide students reasonable career opportunities Approximately 70% of students got placed in the campus recruitment. Apart from on campus drives management encourages students to enhance their skills and gives suggestions in applying out of campus drives.

Campus placements start from the 3-2 semester with pre-placement training, aptitude test, coding rounds and interviews. Companies like HSBC, Prowess soft, ADP, Infinite computer solutions and many more companies visited the campus for recuritment. The average package is around 3.5 LPA while the highest package is 16.43 LPA in 2026 and varies each year. I was selected by Infinite Computer Solution in 4-1 semester itself with a package of 4.5 LPA. After my graduation, I plan to build my career in software development and enhance my techinal skills.

I got civil engineering in my college. As our country is in developing mode the role of civil engineers is going to be crucial. The interdisplinary subjects prepare us for the challenges faced other than civil engineering.each month we have a exam to be specific 2 minors 1 mid term and 1 end term examination.the difficulty level is somewhat moderate. If we thoroughly go through teachers's notes and practice a few problems it is going to be very helpful

A PEACEFUL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WITH SCOPE FOR IMPROVEMENT

i applied to andhra university, jntu kakinada, SVU, JNTU anantapur through eamcet exam. my eamcet rank is around 20000, and though i didn't get admission in the top universities, i secured a seat at JNTUA college of engineering kalikiri. I choose this college because it is a government institution with a low fee structure, a peaceful campu and ample time to prepare for additional skills.Compared to private colleges, JNTUA kalikiri offers a better academic environment and credibility under JNTU anantapur. The admission process was offline. the eligibility required was completion of intermediate with MPC course nad eamcet exam should be qualified with the eligible rank Overall, the admission process was transparent and well organised . even though i couldn't make it to higher ranked colleges due to my eamcet score, this college turned out to be a good choice for me....Read More
