The curriculum is updated frequently to keep up with the current industrial trends. The assessment timings and frequency are also reasonable. And the difficulty level is maintained to assess the students effectively and prepare them for the competitive world.

Internships Opportunities

Several companies offer internships to students starting from their pre-final year and according to the curriculum, it is mandatory to do an internship. Even top companies like Citi, Caterpillar and NVIDIA offer internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

Beginning from the final year, one can start attending placements. Several companies usually visit the college and the top packages around 20-25 Lakhs per annum visit early. The average package is around 7 lakhs.

The tuition fees are quite affordable and very reasonable.Moreover, lots of scholarship opportunities are available and frequent awareness to the students is given regarding those. The campus also provides internship opportunities, where you can get a stipend.

The college social life is lit. There is always some cultural program happening in the college. There are numerous clubs in the college and everyone is friendly. The library is huge and has a good collection of books.It is airconditioned and provides a good learning environment.

The hostels are hygienic and the regulations for girls in particular are strict. The meals are decent and you could also suggest changes to the menu. But there is less of a possibility to get an AC room unless you are an NRI.

The eligibility criteria are based on board exam marks. This college is the oldest and best college in Tamil Nadu and hence the people with only top marks could make their way to the college. The application details and dates can be known by visiting the website/via news channel.

Faculty

The faculties are highly qualified and give excellent guidance. They also assist and mentor during publishing papers and patents. Each faculty teaches around 35-40 students in a class. Importantly, the teachers are very approachable and friendly.The teachers also use teaching aids whenever necessary.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

My engineering cut off is 151.i have already booked a seat in Dr MGR university.But i waited for counseling too .Then before counseling I phone called colleges in Chennai,covai,Trichy I will tell my cut off and they will tell me the fees structure according to my cut off...nearly u have called every colleges in Chennai and Coimbatore sector... While I am calling for DHAANISH AHMED INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY I found that this college provides good education with affordable fees structure and provides good placement too so I came to visit my college.before that in MGR there is no hostel facility for bme students so i was told to stay in pg when I look at that ph photos I was too stunned i didn't even like that place....But when I came to my college I loved the environment and my hostel too so compared to other college I like this one. Then other colleges won't allow 1st yr students for internship and other college events but my college provides us on duty so we can freely participate so I love this the most. I chose this college over others like XYZ College and ABC Institute mainly because of its strong placement record, affordable fee structure, and experienced faculty.
