Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fine not that great. In every semester there are new subjects . As i am a cse student, i have studied all the languages from my first sem to last sem but that really puts us in a position of confusion where we have to learn each and everything. Exams are conducted fine after every 4 month . Class assessment happen thrice in a semester
Internships Opportunities
There are several internship and job opportunities in lpu. A student needs to be diligent to grab an offer as there are so many students making the competition tough. One should be hardworking to get a job. Stipen can range from 10k to 50k and salary can range from 3.5 lpa to 30lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees keep on increasing yearly and at times in 6 months. The complete cost of my education in term of tuition fees was 768000 . I took hostel which was 75000 per year in my 3rd year after that i opted for pg in which i paid rent around 7k per month excluding electricity bills and my other expenses. LPU provides scholarships based on mant things such as class 10&12 marks, extra curricular activities, disability etc. They also provide scholarship on their LPU nest exam . I havent taken any campus jobs but LPU provides certain opportunities for in campus jobs for students
Campus Life
The campus life in lpu is great. It has so much diversity, exposure, events and many more. We have one world and one india , one of the two major events which represents countries,states and their culture, we have MUNs , national conferences , roadshows, singing and dancing competition, theatres and many more. The facilities in college are good. Equipped with projecters, labs , computers ,ac and many more. Sports department here in LPU is also good. We have gym , swimming pool, cricket ground, badminton court and many more. There are several social groups , committees , clubs for almost every interest.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is fine. Its quite safe. The food is ok in hostel not too good but we do have canteens in each and every hostels which are opened till 11pm . People can opt from dorms to apartment to sharing as per their convenience. Hostel fees gets a little expensive. Fixed electricity units are provided. Student gets a bed a chair a table an almirah . The registration of the hostel happen on their university management system. For renting a room outside pg, the locality is fine not too good. The rates lie between 7k to 15k without electricity but all other facilities
Admission
I took admission in lpu by giving their entrance exam which is LPU Nest. Its not difficult at all . students can easily score good and clear it. They conduct this exam almst every 2nd month.In which ever domain a person is taking exam , its quite easy to clear it with good score which can decide the scholarship percentage
Faculty
The faculty is fine. LPU has enough faculty for their Students of each and every domain. They are ready to guide and help if asked and required. We can easily book appointments kf we want to see any higher faculty or teacher. Interactions with teachers is easy.
