What Students Say

Likes

Campus area and campus beauty is very nice
I think placement are good if you are good in studies then definitely you get package very good
Clubs and sports facilities, and other enjoy ment is alsofor students

Dislikes

My classes little bittle far from my hostel
Some teachers covering syllabus fastly, not for understanding
Very large syllabus in one semester, half of semester exams only

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Lpu curriculum is very latest updated curriculum.in some colleges I see that colleges running 50 years old curriculum but in my college is latest. But the way they teach it may difficult for some students.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

PI think intership is in your hand only if you study well, build up skills and have good cgpa you easily get internship form 2nd year.lpu gave you all facilities how to enter internship and all its totally depend on you.

Placement Experience

4.5

The students was starting to placed in 6 semester and they get good placement if they study well.Manh companies come approx 800+ and big companies like Amazon,Flipkart, Google are big one and other mass recuter like Infosys, cognizant,Dell etc Approx 96% students placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Lpu fees is high but I think all college of BTech have high fees it's fee is 240000 per year I get scholarship on my marks in 12th that is 85% so I get a good scholarship of 25% and they provide scholarship upto 35%

Campus Life

I think campus life is beauty of lpu and the college social culture is very nice.there are students form every state and also form other foreign countries.there are many clubs also like music dance English piano sports etc

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility is very nice . Wardens are very friendly and helpful,if you have any problem you tell to warden. HOSTEL ARE safe for girls and boys both because due tight security no other student of other hostel can entered.pg are also available near college.but not preferred becouse they are not safe for girls especially

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

If you have above 80 percentile in jee mains exam you directly qualify for btech course.but if you haves less than 80 then you have to have a lpunest exam.if you pass this exam you are qualified for lpu Course of BTech.

Faculty

Student faculty ratio is very nice.also teachers are very good, they have good qualification but some teachers only cover syllabus.Facults have good colleges degress and good knowledge that need for a proffesor or a teacher

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
