Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is same throughout the nation as decided by NCISM. It is inclusive as the exam pattern also has MCQs and various activities and demands field experience. So it is relevant. Field visits ,electives and periodic assessments keep the students engaged in the syllabus throughout the course duration so last minute study is avoided.
Internships Opportunities
As per the NCISM rules a compulsory 6 month intership has to be done by the student. Departments are well made. Decent equipment are present. My internship hasn't started yet so cannot comment but as seniors intern at college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The basic fee strucure is 158000 And hostel fee would be around 40000 where you have to share rooms with other 3 students. Financial aids are available as per the government policies. Emplyoment opportunities or placement isn't provided but visits to hospitals and PHC are done to introduce student to the work environment.
Campus Life
Library has all the required materials Few festivals and annual day is celebrated College is more focused on the curriculum gives some importance to extracurricular activities but Students who are willing are encouraged to participate in state and national level competitions. Teachers are very supportive of it. Social events are organised for the awareness of health around the villages near the college.
Admission
One gets admitted to this course via NEET This is a yearly entrance exams for those who wish to be admitted to any medicine courses. The admission process is done by MHTCET can be lengthy due to multiple rounds; it is time consuming
Faculty
All the facutly members are MD or MS. They are highly qualified. Very approachable for doubts. Even provide support to students it they want to pursue research. Guest lectures are organised for all round development and to develop deep insight about the subject
