All the professors are highly supportive towards academic
College buildings gave you an feeling of colonial and past historian

Dislikes

In summer you have to carrry your own water bottle
No mapping for classes ...as u were puzzled while finding your classroom

They offer a wide range of courses for the student and college were fully responsible and well awared about how to carried out these courses..as it is not easy to manage all courses and see their effectiveness...but all the staffs and professors are dedicated towards there working..the things they have to focused is on gave some practical knowledge or a regular basis so this will help out the students

Fees and Financial Aid

Here the fees are very nominal.. you don't have to bother so much about fees structure...and you can also got scholarships as per guidelines..you just have to fill form and complete all procedures to avail these benefits...and some job entites visits college regularly to gave a chance of job to job seekers i.e college students

Campus Life

My overall experience in this college was awesome...i am done b.com and m.com from here...and here you got best experience...you can attend seminars here and other events were also held in this colleges for nurturing students skills

Admission

The cut off are very nominal in this college approx 50 percent in 12th...there is no entrance exam in this college...there is direct admission you should get admission form from your respective department and fill the form and submit it alongside with other documents

Faculty

As all the faculty is highly qualified as well as they all are expert in their respective field..they are the best problem solver. .and the way they teches is too good..u don't have to bother to much while asking them about and doubt

My Post Graduation Journey

The main reason of choosing this college was it is onw of the best college in kanpur. The teachers are well equipped and experienced in thier respective subjects.
I was not so much engaged in social activites but sometimes i participate in debates, quizzes etc.
The faculties are PhD holders and has great expertise in their respective subjects. They will guide you at any time anywhere. You can share your personal problems also, they will help you out. Guide and mentor you in your career also.

Dislikes

One thing that i dont like was the behavior of some professor. They are lazy, they dont want to come to class. They will just say it Oh, you can do it as you are good enough and in 2 to 3 years you will be sitting with me.
Sometimes i feel like lack of regular classes i am loosing interest on accounts and Auditing
Lack of regularity, punctuality and discipline affects me a lot. That's why i don't like it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason of choosing to do M.Com was i always wanted to complete my post graduation and after post graduation i want to prepare for ugc net, jrf to pursue PhD. The curriculum of this course helps me alot like it helps me to understand banking terms, norms, rules and regulations. Now i am capable enough to do business also, invest in share markets, financial securities etc. So it connects me from business, banking , and real markets . The main area where improvement is needed according to me is their teaching methods. If You are giving a real world example that's good but you have to teach its impacts , pros and cons also . Teachings styles should be changed according to me. The duration for completing exams is 3 hours and it is sufficient according to me. You can complete whole paper if you know everything. And the level of exams is also moderate.

The best thing about this university was it's culture and it's environment for which I choosed the university.
The greenery circumstances where you will feel the calmness.
There is a placement facility in my faculty of commerce but in others faculty there is nothing so.

Dislikes

There should be proper process of professor recruitment.
In my faculty, the level of education is not satisfactory. But 75℅ attendance is mandatory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I have decided to persue m. Com and trying to choose best university for it. I chooses this university because it was in top 5 rank of NIRF. To be honest some professors really work hard to train us to deal with real world but some also do their duty just because they have to draw salary. There should be a regular class otherwise they should inform before. The exam get conducted once is December or january and second is conducted in may.

THEY GIVE US VARIOUS TASK LIKE PRESENTATION ,ROLE PLAY , PPT ETC. THAT ENHANCE OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE CURRICULUM AND THERE IS 24*7 GUIDANCE . D.A.V College, Kanpur - Best College for a reason

This College is not so good as the interior of the college is very old, as compared to other colleges, but Teachers are very frank with the students, many students are doing jobs and they can't attend college daily, for those this is the best possible college in Kanpur.
