Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The topics in our curriculum is not that advance, they cover only the basic aspects. The syllabus doesn't help much one in preparing itself for the real- world, as it is very outdated, but the teachers taught us many things other than the syllabus which helps us a lot. The worst thing about college is its affiliation with CCSU, which has very unpredictable exam timings. Our semester lasts sometimes for 3 months or for 6 months. One can never estimate when will exam be held. The exams are not very hard but moderate.

Internships Opportunities

4

In the first year a student rarely get stipend so I got intern at NGT i.e NATIONAL GREEN TRIBUNAL which is very amazing and learned a lot about tribunal functioning, hearing court arguments and interaction with judge. I was a legal intern there working under the legal researchers.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 5th year a student become eligible for placement with an average package of 400000. Although, college helps in granting internship opportunities to students in various disciplines like government organisations, under advocates and judges and also in various firms. Government organisations such as : NGT, DLSA, NCPCR, NALSA, NCW, DCW, NCDRC

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is very supportive in providing financial assistance to the students by means of scholarships as a student with good marks and attendance can easily get upto 70% scholarships which really helps student's. Scholarship are granted on various basis like under beti bacho beti padhao, EWS, Academic excellence, or on the basis of score obtained in CLAT/AILET.

Campus Life

4

My overall college experience is moderate. The college has a good library with various nature of books to read upon. Also, an annual fest held name, catalyst, other than this sports festival also took place i.e UMANG. Various socities are there for skills development of students like Moot court society, debate Society, Mediation and Arbitration society, and Cultural society

Admission

The eligibility is a 12th pass student. The college gives admission to students on two basis either on their CLAT/AILET score or on the basis of conducting its own exam i.e LET which is also supported by PI. The information related to application are available on their website and staff is very supportive in helping getting admission.

Faculty

3.5

1. The teachers are highly qualified and skilled, most of the teachers are P.hd graduate with vast coverage of knowledge on topics. 2. Most of the teachers have good interaction with students, they ask us questions and compell us to think into the legal practicality of the matter. 3. Being an introvert student, it sometimes become difficult for me to interact with teachers or sometimes I hesitate asking them questions

Interview Experience

3

I have not appeared for these rounds as I got admission through my CLAT score directly, thereby I was exempted from appearing these test. Other than that I have students talking of the PI taken during admission, they ask good questions and test your genral knowledge related to the discipline

If we talk about syllabus and subjects, it is quite good and relevant. We get subjects of social studies for getting an exposure to the societal and historical glimpse. On the other side students get an opportunity to study legal subjects to get a theoretical knowledge of legal world.
