Likes

One of the best college in terms of Infrastructure
You will get a lot of opportunities for placements and internships
There will be placement specific classes so that you can get ready for your placement drives before starting the 4th year .

Dislikes

Hostel Fees is too high but the rooms are not good as compared to the pricing .
Faculties are good but Improvement is required in some tech specific subjects

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I wanted to become a Full Stack Developer so i have taken the minor as Full Stack Development and the curriculum was so good that i was taught majorly all subjects that are needed to become a full stack developer .

Internships Opportunities

I have not done any Internship but i have done summer training on NodeJS tech stack every summer you have to do a training on a certain tech stack and when you will complete that training you have to make a project on it also for the certificate you have to give a final exam .

Placement Experience

Placements at my college are really good The opportunities will start from 2nd Year Itself but majorly in 3rd year you will get a lot of Opportunities . Also the companies will come which will offer you 1 year internship . Around 800+ companies visit our college and the highest package is around 48 lpa . and minimum is 2 lpa around 80% students gets placed .

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking About the Fee Structure so at my time the semester fee was 98000 per semester but every year the fees increases also the hostel fees was 80000 for a 5 Seater AC Standard Room . You Can get scholarship based on your 12th marks, JEE Percentile, or LPUNEST exam . Also When you will go for admission you will find certain banks there which will offer you for education loan so that you can pay your fees easily . Also You Can work with Admission Department during your Summer Breaks if you want campus employment .

Campus Life

My Overall Experience is really good since the infrastructure is really good and every day you will see a event happening in the campus also there is 3-4 floors of library you can access any book anytime and also if you want to study in the library, you can study there, the library is open till 11:59 pm in the night.

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for a 5 Seater AC Standard Room which costed me 70000 because i booked the room earlier but the original price price was 80000 but the room was not that good but yes if any assistance is needed then it will be provided within 1-2 day .

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Eligibility is just that you must be 12th Pass. The Admission process is quite simple you just have to go to the Lpu admission website fill certain basic details and after some time you will get a call from the Lpu Admission department who will guide you for the entire process . I have not availed any reservation You have to give LPU Nest exam for the scholarship the exam will be in offline mode . I have not found any area of Improvement the process was so smooth .

If i talk about the qualifications of our faculty members so most of the faculty members are MTech or PHD holders and the faculty to student ratio is also good the teacher teaches from the ppt designed by them and in the practical subjects more focus is on the practical part .

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Likes

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
