What Students Say

Likes

LPU has robust placement cell which work nicely to connect students with top recruiters.
Global exposure is offered by the college which is very good for overall character development.
Faculties in nLPU are best and the way they teach is just awesome.

Dislikes

LPU's fee is quite high which everyone cannot afford.
The numbe of students is very high, college usually take everyone who applies.
As university is very big in size so we have to attend classes in different different blocks.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is designed in such a way that it meets the demands of industry. And also college keeps evloving its curriculum every year to match it with industry demands. We were taught all the programming languages in college. Also college provides short courses by traine dfaculties on industry in-demand-technology to students.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 196000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A lot many companies visit LPU ever year like Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, Opentext, Accenture, BP, Qunatiphi. Average salary package offered is around 6-7 LPA. Also companies like microsoft offers more than 50LPA to our students.

Placement Experience

Placement in LPU is very nice. If you will be serious enough you will get placd easily. From semester 5 you will be eligible for internships and placements. A lot of companies visit like Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, Opentext, WNS, MoveInSync, PLAY SIMPLE GAMES, etc. Avg package is around 6-7 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

At my admisssion time fee was 98000 per semester. But beacuse of my scores i got 40%scolarship which resulted in 58800 per semester. every year fees increase almost 10000.You can get scholarship through LPUNEST, based on your 12th score, based on JEE marks etc.

Campus Life

My overall experience is very nice. You can take part in various activities, clubs, fests etc in college. You can be part of various clubs all you need is to get yourself enrolled @DSW. Apart from this you can take part in sports activities as well. LPU is well known for its achievements in sports in olympics.

Admission

Admission process was very easy. You just need to register with all details on the website. You will be given a registration number that will be used by you everywhere in your BTech. You wil have to give LPUNEST which will be easy to moderate. It will consist of physics, chemistry, maths and english. The qustions will be easy just basic concepts.

Faculty

4.5

faculty to student ratio in lpu is approx 1:40. Many faculty member in college is PHD holder with nice teaching experience. They use best in best methodologie to teach us. And also we can connect them any time throgh lpu live application where teachers share all reading materials, ppts etc.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
