Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum is very good but the faculty members are local they sone of them are good but some of them doesn't know about their course also . It's my personal suggestion if you get admission in some other college go there keep LPU as a last option

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Taking about the intership opportunities, after the completion of second year there is a summar break in that summer break we have to compulsory do a intership in any company where it is paid or unpaid doesn't matter and in the third year our college also provide some internship but there is only a few students who get this opportunity.

Placement Experience

2.5

There are various companies that come to the college after completing the third year the students are eligible to seat in the placement they also run a placement prep course and those who perform well in that course they are preferred more in the college for the placement. Takin about the company that is Capgemini, bosch, tcs, paloalto and many more visit and the average package they offer is 4-5 lakh per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Taking about the course fees its about 120000 per year but they offer various scholarships by the exam of the lpunest . And a hidden fees of 4000(compulsory ) per semester is also there which they will not tell . Hostel fees is about 100000 per year depending upon the type of room which you have chosen and the mess fees is about 38000 per year for theee meals. My total cost for the complete BTech is going to be about 15 lakh

Campus Life

4

This is the only thing in the lpu that is good as there are students from various places in India and also from abroad so can get to know about the diversity and the social life is awesome at the lpu and there are various societies in the college which we can join according to our interest the society are made by the students of the lpu only they also fun to the startups of the college but be aware they are the credit stealer.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel facility is good but not worth it according to the amount they are charging for the same the room include greyser and AC but the aree charging too high and there is also electricity limit if it exceeds they will charge a huge amount of fine but however you use the electricity it will confirm exceed the limit. And taking about the mess again the food quality is not up to the marks.

Admission

The admission process was veru simple LPU provide admission in basically three ways From 12 th marks From jee mains percentile From lpunest I hav entered into this college by giving lpunest It was a mcq based exam containing 100 questions 4 marks each and the amazing thing about this is exam is there no negative marking Speaking frankly everone get admission in this college it only demands one thing that is money.

Faculty

3

Taking about the faculty members some of the faculties are best it means that they will guide us whenever we need them but there are also some facilities that do not have the knowledge of their own subject. We can interact with the teachers whenever we want we have their cabin number we can visit to their cabins.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
