Review on Barkatullah University

I already had a bsc degree in genetics so I decided to fine tune my intrest and go for Microbiology. It's extremely entertaining to learn. Real world application are extremely important as described by our head of department who also guides us and improves our knowledge about it simultaneously. The professors are extremely capable to handle their subjects and the course lessons taught have direct relation to the applications in real life.

The cost of education is generally low due to Its being a state university. A single semester fees is 14.5k which basically includes all charges excluding hostel and library fees. The library fees are 120 Rs with 500 rs as caution money. The hostels are 3 each for both boys and girls. They cost around 1400 per semester with 5000 as caution money. Scholarships are also provided, state and national, but not by the University although the Faculty does help greatly in applying for it

Library is good but not that good. The card making process is a hassle and generally not recommended. Clubs are generally non existent as are sports clubs as I've never seen students take part. All festivities are celebrated in the respective departments

Eligibility for course is a graduation degree in any life science field, or MBBS or BDS. Application in the University is through the Central University entrance test (CUET) Exam. Th application process is easier upon release of cuet marks and there are a few seats reserved for SC/ST and OBC etc. There is no special exam for the University entrance.

Faculty is extremely responsive and engaging with students, be it the head, the professors or the pHd students. Everyone I extremely helpful and entertaining which helps in better education. Each of the staff is extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise and also guide us in our practical knowledge
