The Campus Life, both social and academic, have exceeded my expectations. The unparalleled infrastructure is very conducive to the environment of the Campus. We have an integrated University Management System for both faculty and students with each and every information related to the University is available on our devices.

I was selected in the entrance exams of other reputable colleges and even took admission in SRM KTR Campus in CSE. However, after i visited the LPU campus and had an interaction with the students already studying there i cancelled my SRM admission such was the impression i had got of LPU. One of the other important incentive was that of the academic fees. LPU provided good scholarships for the meritorious students of its entrance exam to the range of 50% (which i received). The other encouraging factors were the unmatched infrastructure of the campus and the environment of peaceful learning.

The course curriculum is very diverse and flexible. The core subject of our respective branches as well the other subjects were explained to us at the beginning of the semester. Each subject has continuous evaluation which then are all added towards the end of the term grade.

Yes, LPU does provide internships to its students. They provide earning opportunities within the campus as well as external internships which are many because of the various partners that the University has.

The placement drives are numerous with a wide range of Companies recruiting many students. The University also has a startup school where the interested students cab learn about the various facets involved of the startup culture as well as find suitable partners. Many reputable companies like Amazon,Flipkart, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant etc come for recruitment with companies like Cognizant recruiting around 600 candidates in a single day. Most of the CTC packages are above 4 Lakhs.

We have various events and celebrations in our University. We have various sports meets of inter hostel, inter department and inter college levels of all the sports which provide ample opportunity for the students to engage. There are various recreational as well as educational events with various Bollywood Celebrities and internationally acclaimed experts attending the respective events. We also celebrate religious festivals of all religions.

The fee structure is incredibly feasible as compared to other private colleges of India. The B.Tech(HONS) of CSE has a term fee of 114000. This is however reduced by scholarship cum entrance exam by upto 50% as well as EDB benefits of around 10000 rs per semester.

The Scholarship cum Entrance test (LPUNEST) provides the students with means to reduce the academic fees with scholarships upto 50%. I received 50% scholarship. We also have scholarships on basis of JEE MAINS exam of upto 90%. There are sports scholarships as well which have 100% deduction.

The Campus life is simply incredible. We have more than thousand international students studying in our campus. The gender ratio is well balanced on a University Level with expectedly less number of Girl Students in Engineering and more in Management and others. As i have written above we have standard and South Indian messes in addition to kioaks catering to International Students within the campus, so it's not a stretch to say that we have one of the most diverse student bodies of our country. We have frequent literary and tech meets and competitions within the college as well as on a University level with trophies and cash prizes. We also have frequent e-sports competitions.

There are 8 Boys Hostel and 4 Girls Hostel inside the Campus in addition to the availability of ample apartments available to both faculty and students. So there is sufficiency in number of rooms but the students have the choice to reside in PGs outside the Campus. The food is excellent with Separate Standard and South Indian mess facilities in each hostel to cater to a huge number of students from around the country. We also have canteens inside the hostels and dood kiosks numbering to more than 150 inside the campus.

We have a huge alumni network with chapters registered and meetings taking place around the globe whose pictures and details can be seen on the University Website.

There are Continuous Assessments in all the subjects in addition to the Mid-Sems and End-Terms. The CAs occur once every other week and are focused towards the subject matter of that week and the preceding one. The Mid-Sems have no holidays between the examdays except for Saturdays and Sundays but due to the Syllabus being less as compared to end terms, they are quite comfortable. The end of term exams have holidays between the exam dates ranging from a day to 4-5 days gap between them and so are quite accommodating.

I read about the Admission Process in a Facebook Advertisement. Once i filled in the application there was serious follow up by the University at every step. The interface of online application was very user friendly and efficient. After the entrance exam result we were asked to fill in our preferred branches which was online as well,therefore very efficient. After the allotment of my 1st choice branch i was asked to visit the Campus and get the feel of it and as i have written above it was enough to lure me away from the rest.

The faculty is very engaging and encouraging towards the students. They motivate us to not just mug up the subject matter but to understand the depth and the core of the matter. Many of the faculty members have Masters Degree and ample of them also have Doctorates. They test us fairly regularly and also share some tidbits to keep the class motivated and fresh.
