College with good values

Professors are mostly reluctant to come to classes as they have many administrative issues but are walking books as they have very good knowledge.

This is a government funded college. So there is much scope of higher education and better opportunities are available.apart from that this college ranks in top 10 colleges for B.Tech among many colleges present in Telangana. There is higher exposure of not only different students from different stated but also from different countries. So we can understand how behavior changes. Apart from that this college is in the Hyderabad city. unlike other colleges present in the outskirts of the city this college is present in the heart of the city. All transport facilities are available.

The curriculum is quite fixed. There are 2 semesters every year. any student has to get a fixed no of credits to be promoted to next year. Every student has to get that for sure. There will be two midterm exams one of which must be surely attempted.

Yes, they provide internships at the end of the 6th semester. They only provide the reference for a certain company to be done the internship at.

There are very good placement opportunities. Recently MATH WORKS has recruited about 10 students with a package of 17 lakhs per annum. Apart from that many reputed companies like UHG, ITC, BLUESTAR have done recruitments in their company. Mostly 80% of the students will be recruited with the remaining preparing for competitive exams.

Every year in Mid March technical fests is conducted by every Branch in their respective departments. National level workshops are conducted with hands-on experience. The workshops are carried out by the faculty of IITs for two days. Apart from that SPANDANA day is celebrated every year. It is a cultural fest.

The fee structure is most feasible when compared to any college present in whole Telangana. The college fee is about Rs.10000 for regular 4-year courses and Rs.35000 for Integrated courses. Apart from that, the government provides scholarships to students.

Scholarship of 10000 rs for the 4-year course and of Rs 35000 for the integrated course is provided by the government if you are not children of government employees.

Campus life is very good. You are free to attend the classes or not. None will force you to attend the classes. But you have to maintain an attendance of 75% for getting your hall ticket. If your attendance is above 65% you have to pay fine for getting hall ticket. gender ratio is around 1:1. Everyone is easy mingling. there are a gym and a very big football ground. A sports Complex is also present where you can play different games.

The hostel cost is very low when compared to the hostels present around. The food is mostly good except for one or two dishes a week. The hostel is moderate with no good cleaning. Maintenance of hostel is moderate. But if you adjust with the cleanliness the hostel will be most comfortable.

Seniors are your only ray of hope in your down times. They can warn you about many things and guide you in a good way. Initially, there will be funny encounters with them but if you can cope up they will be your best friends.

In every year there are two semesters. Up to the 3rd-year 1st semester, there will be 5 subjects and 3 labs and in the second semester 6 subjects and 3 labs. In 4th year 1st semester has 6 subjects and 2 labs.in 2nd semester 3 subjects and 1 lab.there will be a max of 100 marks for every subject and a max of 75 marks for any lab.2 midterms will be conducted for 25 marks(15 marks for descriptive+10 marks for objective).semester will be for 70 marks and the remaining 5 marks for assignments.

Firstly you have to complete your +2 or inter with a minimum of 60% in the academics. After that an entrance exam called EAMCET is conducted once a year in the month of April. You have to register in beforehand. In that exam, you have to get a rank below 3000 to get admission in this college.

The faculty is mostly strict and you have to go and meet them most of the time for them to take classes as they would be mostly busy with administrative issues. you have to be in regular contact with them. They provide good advice but you have to squeeze it from them.
