Story of BBA students at IBS, Hyderabad

The course of bba is divided into 3 years with 2 semesters. Consists of 8 subjects in the first 2 years and in the 3rd year we'll have to choose electives for the given options. They are theoretical classes and have two summer internship programs, where students have to finish an internship of 2 months course each year report them to their respective guides and give a final presentation. The curriculum goes as follows- classes+ ncp1( mcqs), ncp2 ( mid term- theory) , ncp3( presentation, projects, and reports). Ncp4- final exam.lj

2st and 2nd year students are eligible for over 40+ Companies such as tata, happydoggos, maven , vian properties, par excellence, other startups, insurance companies in various roles such as marketing hr sales digital marketing etc. with an average package of 5-10k a month.

For bba students summer internship programs are Kanda and graded. Students become eligible for placements after 2nd semester. Around 40+ companies will be visiting the campus in the course of 2-3 days and students will be allowed to apply for any 3-4 companies. However the percentage of students getting placed is quite low.

The tuition fee is around 115000 per semester, so around 7L for 6 semesters. Students are given two types of scholarships, 1.based on our 12th marks 2.performance based. Caution deposit of 10000 should be paid, which is refundable.

There are annual fests- trithi, that is conducted for all the branches in the college during March or April. Freshers and farewells. Extracurricular activities conducted through college clubs frequently in and out of campus. Which are fun and engaging. Sports grounds provided for various sports. Swimming pool and gym accessible for hostlers. Sports events conducted every semester. Students are taken for intercollege sports meet. Library is huge 2 floor space.

The eligibility criteria is 12th or intermediate with cgpa of 5.5 and above. The application form is available on the college website. Application fee has to be paid while submitting the form. Walk-in applications are also accepted. After the application students are called for interview. On the day of interview students and parents are called for the seminar which give the details of campus, facilities and other aspects. After that students are called for interviewed in an orderly manner and results are announced. Student registration for the course will be conducted where they get their respective classrooms and subjects and also students will be given access college mail id and SIS( student information systems) where all the things related to course are updated in the site. An induction session of 10 days will be conducted before the official start of the course.

The faculty are experienced and are often engaging with students. Provide assistance and mentoring whenever required. Students are given faculty number, mail-id and cabin no, and can approach accordingly. Students are provided timings of the faculty availablity and can reach out according to it.

Bba students are taken through interview process. Which is conducted in an orderly manner. Students are divided in batches and are taken to respective classrooms to attend the interview. Students are interviewd by 2 interviewrs on various topics starting with introduction, scores and reasons for choosing the course or the college. Interview in very general and the interviewers are usually friendly
