Course Curriculum Overview

As I am from commerce stream from school , so then I do have options of course like bcom , bcom hons , bba . So I have an interest in bcom hons , that' the main for me to take bcom hons as my subject.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is under delhi university which is a government university , as a result the tution fees is quite decent which is around 12000-14000 for my course , but the living expenses are more if a student is from different state

Campus Life

Our college campus Is not that much good , and our college doesn't organses any annual Fests , it only organises cultural fests which are not that much interesting. There are many societies and clubs in our college.

Admission

From past 2 years delhi university Is now giving exams on the basis of a cuet which is conducted by nta , but before 2 years the students were given admission on the basis of their 12 th class marks .

The faculty to children ration is quite decent , there are approx 200-210 professors or teachers in my college , who are very skilled and the way they teach is also very good , and the teachers take almost every lecture.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

A Detailed Review on ARSD College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

My experience at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College so far !!

To get admission into any college of University of Delhi you need to appear in CUET ( Common University Entrance Exam ). Cutoffs vary from college to college depending on how many students apply for that college. I simply chose SBSC over other colleges i was eligible for because it was the best option i had and since i didn't want to go to a girls college so preferred SBSC over DRC and IP and also over ARSD, SGGSCC and all other colleges at this level. I also got admitted in christ Bangalore ( Central Campus ) and Narsee Monjee ( Mumbai Campus ). But these institutions didn't seem worth it and Delhi University in general has a better reputation....Read More
