What Students Say

Likes

Things that i liked is the large campus withe best furniture and equipmemts and college also the diversity of college

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Course curriculum is good and designed very well. They know how to make students well-prepared for placements and industry. so they make students learn according to the industry requirements which will help them to learn and move ahead from other university students.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Both paid and unpaid internships are available with good exposure to industry and they also give certificates and good working experience to the students, many big companies come to our university to give interships to freshers of our college.

Placement Experience

4.5

As per my experience in college, a 3rd year B tech student with a good cgpa is eligible for the placement drive. he or she can sit in drives and if they qualify in technical rounds they get placements from very big MNC with very good packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

Universities offer scholarships to all students as per cuet or board marks or they can give the university's scholarship exam lpunest which offers decent scholarships. They have some phases for scholarships if you get admission early you will get phase -1 which offers the most scholarships.

Campus Life

Our university has more than 30k students. Students from very different states have different cultures and different languages from South to North and East to West as well the international students. So overall you will get great exposure.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel fee to be honest is not worthy the fee amount I pay 90k for 10 months which includes my 2 semesters which is a 4-seater Ac room. To be honest 4 seater for 90k. Seriously, if you go outside you can get a single room for 9k per month you will get your privacy and comfort which is not easy for four people sharing a single room.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

The admission process was easy just fill out the application via the website after paying token money for admission and submitting the necessary documents required for the admission you will get a reporting date. The day of reporting the process is very smooth and fast.

Faculty

There are some faculties that are very egoistic they are just for money they don't care whether you study in class Or not they are just there to complete lectures. But there are also some genuine and kind-hearted faculty who love to help students.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
