What Students Say

Likes

I like the environment of the college and the unique diversified culture is way too good.
The teaching and classroom infrastucture is really good to be honest.
The placement opportunities are really high and is around 90%.

Dislikes

The mess food is not that good. There's different food but the taste isn't that good.
The distance from hostel to classes is way too long.
It's really hot out there. The temperature during summer is in peak and is around 39 to 47 degree celsius.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really good to be honest. There is more than 153 plus courses and students can take any course as per their wish. The buisness studies is really good in our university and mostly many students opt that course.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college offers internship in the second year of the students. The higest sttipend by an intership is 1,00.000 per month. Students can apply for private internships too as per their interest in various feilds.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is comparitively low. It is affordable. Beside from that there is schollarship opputtunities. If a student gets more that 90% in his/her schollarship exam around 90% fee will be reduced.

Campus Life

The overall experience in our college is really good. Everyone here is really friendly and its easy to communicate with eachother. There are many sports activities and sports clubs especially the football club and basketball club is famous in our university.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facillities is way too good and the space is also good. The beds are very comfortable to be honest. The cleaning facilities is also good to be honest. And the overall experience is good in my hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

There is many way to get admission. Few of the exams are like LPUNEST, JEE, and aslo with our 12th and 10th marks. If our marks are above 90% in our 12th grade we can get admission without writing the exams like LPUNEST or JEE.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty development programs are often done. The faculties are very friendly with the students. The teaching is also too good. Students are allowed to ask and clear doubts whenever they are free. The only disadvantage is some staffs speak in hindi.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
